本設計題目為端蓋落料拉深復合模設計，體現了帶凸緣筒形零件的設計要求、內容及方向，極有設計意義。通過對該零件模具的設計，進一步豐富了本人冷沖模設計的基礎知識，為今后設計更復雜的沖壓模具做好了鋪墊并獲取了更豐富的經驗。
本設計運用沖壓工藝及模具設計的基礎知識，首先分析了制件的形狀及生產可行性，為合理選取沖壓工藝方案做好準備；然后估算了落料毛坯的體積，便于排樣；最后分析模具結構，確定模具的設計參數、設計要點及卸料裝置的選取。
本制件是帶凸緣的筒形件，選擇合適的壓邊力是極為重要的，它具體應在保證不起皺的前提下取最小值。卸料板在落料前兼起壓料作用。 本復合模具先由凸凹摸與落料凹模進行落料拉深工序，后進行沖孔工序。此外，在排樣的工作中力求板材利用率達到較高的水平。
