二. New Concepts
1. Teach new words. (Show the cards or look at the picture in N1)
T: It’s city. City. Say

C: City. (office building, apartment building, hotel, park)
Let the students say the words a few times.
2. Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books.

3. DRILL
Ask two volunteers to say sentences. One say
5、go to some place, the other say how to go there.
S1: Let’s go to the park.
S2: Let’s take a bus.
4. Teach the numbers.
Count with the students form one to thirty. When get to thirty, continue counting and encourage the students to count up to thirty-nine.
Show the students how the pattern for t
6、hirty-one to thirty-nine is the same as for twenty-one to twenty-nine. Write twenty and thirty on the blackboard. Point to the words as the students say them a few times.
Add a hyphen after each word and tell the students to count form twenty-one to twenty-nine, form thirty-one to thirty-nine.
Write forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety and one hundred on the blackboard. Point to the words and say them a few times. Point out the similarity between forty and four, fifty and five and so on.
