M7 A famous story 知識點總結(jié) ●1　 fall v. 下落；跌落 Alice followed it and fell down a hole in the ground. Between July and August, oil prices fell 0.2 percent. fall是不及物動詞，其過去式和過去分詞分別為fell和fallen。fall還可表示氣溫、價格等的下降。 [拓展] (1)fall用作系動詞時，后接形容詞作表語，表示“進入(某種狀態(tài))”。 (2)常用短語有fall off, fall down, fall asleep等。 (3)在美式英語中，fall也可用作名詞，意為“秋天”。 ●2　 follow v. 跟隨；緊跟 Please follow me to read the story. [探究] follow為及物動詞，常用搭配為“follow sb. to do sth.”意為“跟隨某人做某事”。 [拓展] (1)follow作動詞，還有其他意思： ①領(lǐng)會；聽懂。I didnt follow you. Please explain it again. ②沿著……走。Follow this road until you get to the bridge. ③聽從；遵循。I decide to follow her advice. (2)following為形容詞，意為“接著的；下述的”。 Please finish the following exercises by yourselves. ●　　To see if you remember the story! 句中if是連詞，意為“是否”，常引導賓語從句，放在see, ask, remember, know, wonder等動詞的后面，通?？膳cwhether互換。 I wonder if/whether it will be clear tomorrow. if 作連詞，意為“如果”時，常引導條件狀語從句。在含有if引導的條件狀語從句的主從復合句中，主句若是一般將來時，if從句用一般現(xiàn)在時表示將來。 If he comes, Ill tell him the news. ●1　twice adv. 兩次；兩倍 Once or twice she looked into her sisters book. 。 Please take the medicine twice a day. [拓展] (1)once表示“一次”， 三次或三次以上一般用“基數(shù)詞＋times(次)”來表示。如：five times 五次，ten times 十次。“每月一次”表示為“once a month”，中間不用介詞in?！耙惶烊巍北硎緸椤皌hree times a day”。 They go shopping once a week. (2)對含有twice, once, sometimes, seldom, usually, never等的頻度副詞提問時用how often。 —How often do you play computer games? —Twice a week. [搭配] ●1　Alice had nothing to do. have nothing to do 意為“無事可做”。 [拓展] have nothing to do with… 意為“與……無關(guān)；與……毫不相干”。 He had nothing to do with this accident. ●3　Alice got up and ran across the field after it. run across 意為“跑過”，介詞across意為“穿過”，表示動作是在某個物體的表面進行的，常和表示“走”之類的動詞(如walk, run, fly, jump等)連用。 [拓展] (1)across的動詞形式是cross，相當于go/walk across。 You must be careful when you cross the street. ＝Y(jié)ou must be careful when you go/walk across the street. (2)through是介詞，也指“穿過”，但它表示的動作是在某一物體的立體空間內(nèi)進行的。 The ball went through the window into the room. ●4　It was too dark for her to see anything. “sb./sth.＋too＋adj./adv.＋to＋ v．”表示“某人/某物太……而不能……”。此結(jié)構(gòu) 用肯定形式表示否定意義，后面不定式的邏輯主語可用for引出。 Wei Ming said English was too difficult(for him) to learn well.
