第八講　巧奪天工的連篇技巧 有效地使用語句間的連接成分巧妙地銜接過渡，利用好“開篇、承接、轉(zhuǎn)折、總結(jié)”四個方法使文章流暢自然，是考生在書面表達題目上爭創(chuàng)高分的非常重要的條件。 一、開篇——創(chuàng)造良好開端 1.常用表達“開篇”的過渡詞語(常用在段落或文章的開頭) first，first of all，at first，in the first place，firstly，to start with，recently，now，at present，in recent years，in general，generally speaking，at present，lately，currently等。 2.常用表達“開篇”的句型 (1)It is often said that... (2)As the proverb says... (3)It goes without saying that... (4)It is clear/obvious that... (5)Many people often ask... Firstly I collected all the books，newspapers and other things scattered in the rooms and put them in place.(陜西卷) It’s often said that all work without play makes Jack a dull boy. As the proverb says，no pains，no gains.(北京卷) 二、承接——順勢承上又啟下 1.常用表達“承接”的過渡詞語 secondly，in addition，besides，moreover，what is more，what is worse，for example，in other words，especially，particularly，obviously，at the same time，no doubt meanwhile，as a consequence等。 2.常用表達“承接”的句型： (1)It is true that... (2)Everybody knows that... (3)It can be easily proved that... (4)No one can deny that... (5)The reason why...is that... (6)There is no doubt that... (7)To take...for example (instance)... (8)What is more serious is that... In addition，I will go on a trip to Sichuan，where there are a great number of places of interest. Meanwhile，I will regard it as my duty to help keep our environment clean and healthy. As a consequence，children bee so reliant on their parents that they have no independent thought or creative ideas. 三、轉(zhuǎn)折——利用轉(zhuǎn)折巧過渡 1.常用表達“轉(zhuǎn)折”的過渡詞語 but，however，on the other hand，on the contrary，in any case，or，or else，while，despite，in spite of，regardless of，instead等。 2.常用表達“轉(zhuǎn)折”的句型 (1)Every coin has two sides. (2)But for...I would never... (3)Another example is that... (4)Taking everything into consideration... (5)That’s why I feel that... There will be many challenges ahead，but I have confidence that I’ll take on the burden. However，it is not so easy for people to realize their dreams every time. 四、總結(jié)——完美結(jié)束全文 常用表達“總結(jié)”的過渡詞語：in a word，in general，in short，above all，finally，in conclusion，at last，in summary，as a result，on the whole，in one’s opinion等。 常用表達“總結(jié)”的句型： 1.Something must be done to... 2.It can be safely concluded from...that... 3.In my opinion，we can draw the conclusion that... 4.It may be summed up as follows... It may be briefly summed up as follows：it’s high time that our government took some measures to improve our environment. In my opinion，people need to learn to accept the reality and keep on trying. [跟 蹤 訓 練] Ⅰ.完成句子 1.With__the__development__of__ the Internet，puters play an important role in people’s life. 隨著因特網(wǎng)的發(fā)展，計算機在人們的生活中起著重要作用。 2.Generally__speaking/On__the__whole/In__general,__the more you practise，the more skillfully you can write in English. 總的來說，你練習越多，用英語寫作就越熟練。 3.Take__Beijing__for__example，it is one of the oldest cities in the world. 就拿北京來說吧，它是世界上最古老的都市之一。 4.That__is__to__say，if you want to succeed，you have to believe in yourself. 也就是說，如果你想成功，必須相信自己。 5.As__far__as__I__am__concerned，I love wealth，but I value health more. 就我而言，我喜歡財富，但我更看重健康。 6.In__my__opinion，people shall not smoke in public places. 按照我的觀點，人們不應該在公共場所抽煙。 7.In__a__word/In__conclusion/In__short/In__brief/To__sum__up，a good citizen should observe traffic regulations. 總之，一個好市民應該遵守交通規(guī)則。 8.Besides/What’s__more/In__addition/Moreover/Furthermore,__our class also organize a variety of activities to enrich our spare time. 另外，我們班還組織了各種各樣的活動來豐富我們的業(yè)余時間。 9.Worse__still/To__make__matters__worse,__if we spend too much time on phones，we will lose the munication skills we need in the future. 更糟的是，如果我們在電話上花費過多的時間，我們會失去將來需要的交際技能。 Ⅱ.完成短文 1.Firstly，I collected all the books，newspapers and other things scattered in the rooms and put them in place. 2.Then__ I wiped the dust off all the furniture.3.__After__that,__I swept and mopped the floors. 首先，我把所有的書籍、報紙和其他的散落在屋子里的東西收集起來放好，然后我掃去所有家具上的灰塵，之后我掃地、拖地。 Ⅲ.翻譯句子 1.努力學習，你就會升入重點大學。 __Work__hard，and__you__will__be__admitted__to__a__key__university. 2.游泳不但對身體有好處，而且能培養(yǎng)我們的堅強意志。 Swimming__not__only__benefits__our__health，but__also__helps__us__have__a__strong__will. 3.然而，使你最驚訝的是下述新的功能。 However，what__amazes__you__most__is__the__following__new__function. 4.相反，智能手機不僅占用我們寶貴的時間，而且對我們的健康造成極大的危害。 On__the__contrary，smartphones__not__only__take__up__our__valuable__time，but__also__do__great__harm__to__our__health. 5.多虧醫(yī)生的及時治療，他獲救了。 Thanks__to__the__doctor’s__timely__treatment，he__was__saved. 6.因此，我建議應該給我們更多的時間用于體育運動和睡眠。 Therefore，I__suggest__we__be__given__more__time__for__sports__and__sleep. 7.只要你不灰心，就一定會成功。 As__long__as__you__don’t__lose__heart，you’re__sure__to__succeed. 8.如果我們忽視我們的未來，就像圖畫中的這個人一樣，我們就會以失敗告終。 __If__we__neglect__our__future，we’ll__end__up__in__failure__as__what__happens__to__the__man__in__the__picture. Ⅳ.用方框內(nèi)的過渡詞完成下面的短文 second，so，as a result，despite，on (the) one hand，what’s worse，instead of，in a word，on the other hand，as is well-known 1.As__is__well-known,__online shopping is being more and more popular in our daily life. 2.On__the__one__hand,__online shopping has many advantages.First，online shopping makes it easier for us to buy things.3.Instead__of searching a crowded store，we just need to watch the puter screen and choose the things we like. 4.Second,__it is much faster for us to do shopping.We don’t have to spend a lot of time going to shops.Third，we can see a lot of goods shown on the puter screen at the same time. 5.On__the__other__hand，online shopping also has many disadvantages.The pictures of goods shown on the puter screen are not always what they are.6.As__a__result,__we can be cheated easily. 7.What’s__worse,__we cannot see the things in detail. 8.In__a__word,__9.despite the disadvantages of online shopping, I think it is an advanced way to do shopping.10.So we should develop it.
