第四講 增光添彩的定語(yǔ)從句 定語(yǔ)從句分為限制性定語(yǔ)從句和非限制性定語(yǔ)從句,非限制性定語(yǔ)從句和主句或先行詞之間常用逗號(hào)隔開。 1.關(guān)系代詞引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句 關(guān)系代詞who,whom,whose,that,which,as引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句是寫作的一大重點(diǎn),尤其是which和as引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語(yǔ)從句在高考標(biāo)準(zhǔn)范文中更是屢見不鮮。 I live next door to a couple whose children often make a lot of noise. 我住在一對(duì)他們的孩子經(jīng)常吵鬧的夫婦隔壁。 Any student who is interested is wele to participate. 歡迎任何感興趣的學(xué)生參加。 To begin with,the theme of the show is Environmental Protection,which will be not only meaningful but also interesting. 首先,展覽的主題是環(huán)境保護(hù),這不僅有意義,但也很有趣。 As one saying goes,“Practice makes perfect”. 正如諺語(yǔ)所說(shuō),“熟能生巧”。 2.關(guān)系副詞引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句 關(guān)系副詞引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句是指when,where,why引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句。 During holiday seasons,I will live in the countryside,where the air is fresh and people are friendly. 在假期,我會(huì)住在鄉(xiāng)下,那里空氣新鮮而且人們友好。 I think the reason why you are always angry may be the high pressure of study. 我認(rèn)為你總是發(fā)脾氣的原因可能是學(xué)習(xí)上的巨大壓力。 We will put off the picnic in the park until next week,when the weather may be better. 我們將在公園的野營(yíng)活動(dòng)推遲到下一星期,那時(shí)候天氣可能會(huì)好些。 3.“介詞+which/whom”引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句 Speaking and listening are very important for a language learning,by which you are sure to make great progress. 聽和說(shuō)對(duì)于一門語(yǔ)言的學(xué)習(xí)非常重要,通過(guò)它們你一定會(huì)取得很大進(jìn)步。 Our class also has problems of its own,of which the most obvious one is the students’ laziness. 我們班自身也有問(wèn)題,其中最明顯的是學(xué)生的懶惰。 It makes no difference from ordinary voting events,in which candidates go around to seek supports. 與普通的投票沒(méi)有區(qū)別,在普通的投票中候選人到四處去尋求支持。 4.寫好定語(yǔ)從句的三個(gè)步驟 [示例] 去海邊度假是個(gè)好主意。在那里我們可以享受陽(yáng)光、藍(lán)天和新鮮空氣。 第一步:首先寫出簡(jiǎn)單句 It is a good idea to go to the seaside for a holiday. We can enjoy sunshine, blue sky and fresh air there. 第二步:然后找出簡(jiǎn)單句中意義上的重疊詞匯: the seaside和there 第三步:最后用相應(yīng)的關(guān)系詞連接 It is a good idea to go to the seaside for a holiday, where we can enjoy sunshine, blue sky and fresh air. [跟 蹤 訓(xùn) 練] Ⅰ.把下面的句子變成定語(yǔ)從句 1.The girl is spoken highly of.Her position was well-written. The__girl__whose__position__was__well-written__is__spoken__highly__of. 2.Jiuzhaigou is well-known for its beautiful lakes.The water of the lakes is clear and looks beautiful. Jiuzhaigou__is__well-known__for__its__beautiful__lakes,of__which__the__water__is__clear__and__looks__beautiful. 3.People need a place.They can rest and enjoy themselves there. People__need__a__place__where__they__can__rest__and__enjoy__themselves. 4.I get along with others easily.It is especially useful for a volunteer. I__get__along__with__others__easily,which__is__especially__useful__for__a__volunteer. 5.I happened to see your notice.From the notice,I knew you were eager to have a Chinese friend. I__happened__to__see__your__notice,from__which,I__knew__you__were__eager__to__have__a__Chinese__friend.
