As is known to everyone, the interest is the most significant power which motivates people to learn in the learning process. Also, it is the best teacher for the students to study. When teaching the language of Englis
4、h, the key of teaching effectively lies in stimulating the students interested to learn, in order to make the students actively take part in various activities during the English teaching in a delightful atmosphere. Therefore, teachers are supposed to build up the connection between the English lear
5、ning and the psychological of the students by every means, in order to make the students feel the pleasures when starting to learn English and then be very interested in it.But how can he achieve this goal? The author of this paper thinks foster a good attitude towards learning and a correct motivat
6、ion to learning can help with achieving the most fruitful outcome with every effort in English learning. This paper will discuss how to stimulate the interest of learning English for the students in three aspects. First, build up a new type of the relation between the students and the teachers. Seco
7、nd, stimulate the interest of learning English for the students in the process of teaching. Finally, hold various English extracurricular activities, to stimulate and keep the interest of learning English for the students again. At last it mentions about the problems to be noticed while stimulate st

Therefore, when teaching English, teachers can never ignore stimulating the interest of learning English, since its value can never be too overestimated in our teaching. 9、色。然而,無(wú)論在小學(xué)還是中學(xué),許多學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)都不感興趣。他們不喜歡學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的主要問(wèn)題在于對(duì)英語(yǔ)不感興趣。眾所周知,興趣是最重要的力量,在學(xué)習(xí)的過(guò)程中激勵(lì)人們學(xué)習(xí)。此外,它是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的最好老師。要想有效教授英語(yǔ),關(guān)鍵是激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使學(xué)生在愉快的氣氛中積極參與到英語(yǔ)教學(xué)過(guò)程中的各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)。因此,為了使得學(xué)生在初學(xué)英語(yǔ)時(shí)感到快樂(lè)并對(duì)英語(yǔ)萌發(fā)興趣,教師應(yīng)該采取一切手段建立英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)和學(xué)生的心理方面的聯(lián)系。但是如何達(dá)到這個(gè)目的呢?本文作者認(rèn)為:樹立端正的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度和正確的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī),能夠有力幫助取得英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)方面的成果。本文從三個(gè)方面討論了如何激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣。一是促進(jìn)師生的關(guān)系;二是在課堂教學(xué)中激發(fā)

The use of language is nothing more than two kinds of situation when people using it: initially, people use the mother language which is also the firs
14、t language; and the second is that people use the language as a foreign language which is also the second language. There are more than 300 million people in the world who are using the English as their mother language. From this, it shows that English plays a very important role in the whole world.
15、 English is vital to everybody in the process of the modernization in todays society. In the learning process, interest is the biggest motivation for students to learn and is also the best instructor for th e students. Therefore, the key of obtaining a good teaching effect lies in stimulating the st
16、udents to learn, in order to make the students have good attitude to learning and a correct motivation to learning. It requires teachers optimizing the teaching and designing a good start in order to stimulate the thirst for knowledge. Also, it requires teachers emphasizing the affective education w
17、hich educates people by affecting them. Besides, teachers are supposed to add multiple elements in the process of teaching which can make more fun. Whats more, teachers can hold some English extracurricular activities with a wide wide-ranging content and in various forms, in order to guide the stude
18、nts to master the learning methods and use the learning results to keep the interest of learning. The English class is the main place for students learning and using English. A sophisticated educator puts it, The best method for teaching English is to stimulate students to love English. “Interest re
19、fers to a state of longitude and emotional which leads to a conscious decision to act, and which give rise to a pried of sustained intellectual and physical effort in order to attain a previously set goal, interest is one of the most important factors in learning a foreign language. Interest accounts for about 50%.This paper will discuss how to stimulate the interest of lear

It is fundamental to pay more attention to the affective communication between the students and the teachers. Second, stimulate the interest of learning English for the s

At last it mentions about the problems to be noticed while stimulate students interest in learning English Chapter I The Import
23、ance of the Interest to the English LearningIt is well known that English is one of the most widely used languages in the world. Being as the talents in the new century, English will be the required course for everybody of us. However, in the process of learning English, interest is the best guider
24、and medium to learn it. The interest, sentiment and the teaching are connected with each other. A good mood, a peaceful mind, optimistic and confident attitudes as well as other positive emotions can intensify the intellectual activities. To the contrary, a bad mood, a depressed emotion and a psycho
25、logical aversion and other negative emotions can restrain the intellectual activities. The interest of learning is the most radical inner driving force. Stimulating the students is an important way to learn and make them learn and master the knowledge better. Once an educationist put it, if the stud
26、ents had no interests in learning but are still forced to learn, the willingness and desire to learn will be significant. From the autumn of 2001, the English classes are set from grade three in the primary school in our country. At first, when the students are learning English, probably they think
27、it is new and interesting and they have a high enthusiasm and a deep interest of learning. But as the learning contents enlarge, at the same time, English learning task become heavier, it goes without saying that many students may have lower interest in learning English which can directly influence
28、the learning effect. Therefore, it is necessary to pull out all stops to stimulate the interest of learning for the students by every means, to help students set up proper attitudes toward learning and achieve the learning goals more effectively.Chapter II The Methods to Stimulate Students Interest2
29、.1 Promote Relationship between Teachers and Students The relationship between students and teachers is based on the elemental anthroposophy. If the teachers think that the humans are intrinsically sluggish and negative, or only strict instruction can they inspire conscience, the authoritative relat
30、ionship between students and teachers is the effectual one. The traditional serious education shows the authoritative relationship between them. Oppositely, modern educational views figure that the inborn nature of human should be aggressive and potential, as the aim of education is to develop the h
31、uman beings capacity and hasten the better growth of human beings, there is no doubt that the authoritative relationship will have the negative effect on gifts and creativities of students. As a result, we must build up a new relationship between students and teachers. 2.1.1 The Cooperative Relation
32、ship This kind of relationship demands that teachers should not pose as a pedagogue; whats more, they should not adopt the coerciveness methods, such as dropping on the students, humiliating the students and bringing a lawsuit against the students and so on in order to make the students submitted to
33、 them. The coerciveness education not only can ruin the interest of students, but also hurt their self-esteem and confidence easily. All of these lead the distaste of students to their teachers. However, the synergic relationship means that the students and teachers are equal in personality. Althoug
34、h the past views thought that if the student can not study, the teacher will teach him; if the student is not willing to study, the teacher will force him to study. Now views changed, which are likely that if the student does not know how to study, the teacher will teach them; if the student isnt wi
35、lling to study, the teacher will attract him to study. The important word attract means the students are happy to study, and they are willing to join the educational game, which are held by both of teachers and students. 2.1.2 The Harmonious Relationship The harmonious relationship means the emotion
36、al contact between teachers and students, in which love is the most important element. To love means teachers care for the students and offer necessary guidance, help and encouragement to them, especially those who pours love to the students, then teachers are linked closer to students which enables
37、 the teachers to know better about their students through hearty communication and sharing. According to several researches, the students tend to be more willing to listen to the teachers that they like and more involved in those teachers class. And to love the students in the key to be loved and to
38、 know them well is essential for teachers to find out the suitable way to solve the problems the students meet in their study. 2.1.3 The Interactive Relationship Teaching is not only a simple matter that refers to the relations between teaching and learning, also the process of emotional as well as
39、mental communication between teachers and students. The relations between them directly influence students sensibility as well as their will. At last, the cognition abilities of students are affected gradually. Generally speaking, supposing some students like their teachers, so, there is no doubt th
40、at the atmosphere around the class would fill with vigor, at the same time, the students learning interest arousing spontaneously. Therefore, teachers must pay much attention on sentimental devotion. Evoke students emotional sympathy by means of their empressement. In addition, teachers should try t
41、heir best to transfer the amiable, hortative, valued emotional information through their expression, words and deeds. Only in this way can students be not afraid of making a mistake and be sure of themselves to learn English. Attaching great importance to just the students who are overwhelmed by the
42、 affection of emotional factor. Leaving no stone unturned to keep the students under such a favorable state of mind; leaving no stone unturned to protect their self-confidence. All those can have a favorable effect upon them while make them gradually cultivate and stimulate their study interest. It
43、is known to all that some students are very interested in English studying merely at the beginners stage. Yet, as time goes by, with the tremendous increase of knowledge quantity as well as the level of studying difficulty, the degree of maintaining their interest differs from person to person. What
44、 s the worst, some students may totally lose interest. In view of such a situation, we can not keep turning a blind eye on it; on the contrary, it is essential that effective measures be taken without any hesitation.2.1.4 Teach Students in Accordance with Their Aptitude During the past decades, teac
45、hers always use the invariable ways to teach the students in class that can not receive progressive achievements. According to some recent professional statistics show that teaching students in accordance to their aptitude can achieve great effectiveness. The inferior ones can not catch up with the
46、superior ones that led to their sickness of learning. In contrast, the superior ones may figured that the study is too easy for them to dig into some further exercise beyond their textbook, what is worse, they can not concentrate on what the teacher instructs in the class that gradually they lose pa
47、ssion and enthusiasm. In view of this dilemma, I have collected some consultation which given by some English teacher from junior school. First and foremost, divide students into different groups on the basis of their levels. As for the inferior students teacher should put up an easier programs, tha
48、t is to say, the interlocution and sentence diversion, at the same time keep their enthusiasm by means of leave some simple question to them. Thus can attract their attention, cultivate their ideation and prepare for a further question to the inferior ones. As for the superior level students, they s
49、hould be assigned to some hard work while teacher should make them do some exercise about reading and illation.2.1.5 Solicitude and EncouragementThe students motivity can be kept so long as the teachers encouraging and solicitation the form time to time. Meanwhile, the students may fill with self-co
50、nfidence and make accomplishment effectively if teachers do not scant their praise and encouragement, especially to just the students who are not good at English. For instance, in order to encourage the inferior level students participations as well as add their class scoring, we should carry out a
51、scoring method which depending on the students behaviors at class. 2 .2 Stimulate Students Interest in the Process of Teaching 2.2.1 Communicative Approach Scene teaching means that the teachers must have a sense of flexibility as well as play to the score to make good use of existing scene to teach
52、. For instance, there is a sentence: Lucy and Lily are twins. in lesson The New Student. Suppose, we have twins in our classroom and here comes the good opportunity to introduce the twin students in the class, using expression in the textbook: look! This is Christy and this is Ashley. They are twins
53、. They look the same. The students are so familiar with the twins that they may seem excited. In the active atmosphere the students immediately remember the words and expressions-twins and look the same. This can cast a profound impression on them. Introducing the real life scene into class and shor
54、tening the distance between teaching and real life has been accepted as an effective way for students English study. For instance, when the teachers teaching the communication about calling on somebody. They could adorn the classroom with some props .let one student outside and knock at the door. Ti

57、at the same time they would strive to be the first to demand the dialog exercise out of question. 2.2.2 Game Game is one of the activities that the students like most. On account of the English game is full of competition so the participants always yearn for winning the game. On the one hand, playin
58、g game helps the students to improve their spoken English as well as enlarging their vocabulary in an active and interest way. On the other hand, it makes the teaching process fill with diversification as well as administering to relax the tense and tedious study atmosphere. Such a competitive game
59、not only can broaden the students mind also overcome their mental obstacle of shyness. At the same time, our sentiment nurtured; our aspirations excited; our oral English promoted in the process of playing games. All those mobilize the students learning go-aheadism as well as enthusiasms to the furt
60、hest extent2.2.2.1 World by WorldIn the process of class teaching , we should usually use this game- the single phrase connects a dragon while reviewing the words what we had learned. The rules are listed as following :Firstly ,taking group as the unit when carrying on the game. Secondly, a student
61、of the first group says a word. Then, a student of the second group says another word which beginning with the last letter of the first groups word and the rest can be deduced accordingly. ( Some brilliant as well as excellent examples can be listed as following: ear-rabbit-time-equal-location-net-t
62、ry-yellow-white-eazy-yes-slight.) The game did not end until a set of the member could not say a word. At last The winner goes to the group which says the most accurate words. 2.2.2.2 Whispers Divide the students into several rows. The last member of each row is taken out of the classroom or taken t
63、o the back of the classroom. A key letter, word or sentence is carefully designed by the teacher. The students go back to their rows, and whisper the key to the student next to them their. It is whispered down through the row until the last member writes it on the board. The row of which the first student write it correctly on the blackboard is the winner.
