2、B studentbatwolfdogfoxraccoonmousecatskunksnakebird單數(shù) this that復(fù)數(shù) these thoseDemonstrative pronouns: 指示代詞:英語(yǔ)中表示指示概念的代詞叫指示代詞,指示代詞用來(lái)起指示作用,或用來(lái)代替前面已提到過(guò)的名詞。指示代詞包括:this, that, these,those,其用法如下: (1)指示代詞在時(shí)間或空間上對(duì)所指人或事物有 遠(yuǎn)近之分。 this和these常用來(lái)指時(shí)間和空間上 較近的事物。而that和those則相反。 This is a book. (指近處) That is a banana

(指遠(yuǎn)處) (2)指示代詞在指事物時(shí)有單數(shù)、復(fù)數(shù)之分。this和 that用來(lái)表示單數(shù)概念,系動(dòng)詞be用is。there或 those用來(lái)表示復(fù)數(shù)概念,系動(dòng)詞be用are。 (3)當(dāng)含有this或that的特殊問句指人時(shí),其回答仍 可以用 this或that;但不指人時(shí),單數(shù)用it,復(fù)數(shù)用 they回答。例: Whos that? Thats Andy Liu. Whats this? Its an insect. What are those? They are apples. 。(4)在介紹人時(shí),我們常用this指下面要提到的人, 而不用其它指示代詞。 eg: Ladies a

4、nd gentlemen, this is Dr Ray, she is going to give us a talk on trees. (5)打電話時(shí)通常用this表示自己,that表示對(duì)方, 而不用代詞I和you。 eg: -Hello, is that Mary speaking? -Yes, this is Mary speaking. Who is that?3. 敘述在一起的兩樣?xùn)|西時(shí),先說(shuō)的用 this ,后說(shuō) 的用 that .如: This is a computer. That is a TV set.5.最后提醒同學(xué)們注意: this 和 is 不能縮寫,但 that

5、 、 it 與 is 連用時(shí)可分別寫為 thats 和 its 如:This is a dinosaur. (不可寫成:Thiss a dinosaur. )It is a postcard. 7、lices ( of meat, bread, cake) A flash/ flashes (of lightning)英語(yǔ)中的名詞按其表示的事物性質(zhì)的不同可分為可數(shù)名詞與不可數(shù)名詞。這兩種名詞在用法上是有區(qū)別的,現(xiàn)歸納如下:一、可數(shù)名詞有單數(shù)、復(fù)數(shù)之分,如:map maps concert concerts footprint footprints不可數(shù)名詞沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式,只有單數(shù)形式。如:some water a lot of bread二、單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞表示泛指時(shí),前面要用不定冠詞 a(an); 而不可數(shù)名詞不能用 a (an) .如: Li Ming is a student. I am

8、 a teacher. I dont like milk.在表示特指時(shí),不可數(shù)名詞和可數(shù)名詞前都要用定冠詞 the如:Pass me the ball, please. 。The chicken on the plate is yours. 三、可數(shù)名詞表示復(fù)數(shù)意義時(shí)可用 many 等詞修飾。如: many apples a lot of tomatoes a few pens 不可數(shù)名詞則要用 much 、 a little 等詞修飾。如: much meat a little bread little water 這兩類名詞都可以被 some , any ,a lot of (lost o

9、f) 等修飾。如: some eggs/ paper (紙)。 A lot of (lots of) knives / orange juice四、可數(shù)名詞前通??捎镁唧w的數(shù)詞來(lái)修飾。如: three women five babies不可數(shù)名詞表示數(shù)量的多少時(shí),必須與表示數(shù)量的名詞連用,即“數(shù)詞 + 表示數(shù)量的名詞(可數(shù)名詞) + of + 不可數(shù)名詞”。如: two glasses of milk 兩杯牛奶 five pieces of bread 五片面包五、可數(shù)名詞作主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的單、復(fù)數(shù)與主語(yǔ)的單、 復(fù)數(shù)須保持一致。不可數(shù)名詞作主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞只 能用單數(shù)形式。如: There

10、is some rice in the bowl. All the students are in the classroom. 如果不可數(shù)名詞前有復(fù)數(shù)名詞短語(yǔ)修飾時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞 須用復(fù)數(shù)形式。如: There are two bags of rice in the room. 六、對(duì)可數(shù)名詞的數(shù)量提問用 how many ;對(duì)不可數(shù)名詞 的數(shù)量提問要用 how much ,但對(duì)不可數(shù)名詞前表示 數(shù)量名詞中的修飾語(yǔ)提問時(shí)要用 how many .如: I can see two pictures on the wall. How many pictures can you see on the

11、wall? There is a lot of oil in the bottle. How much oil is there in the bottle? I want two glasses of juice. How many glasses of juice do you want? 七、有些集合名詞也是可數(shù)中詞,但不同的是, 它們以單數(shù)形式出現(xiàn),表示復(fù)數(shù)概念,如 people, police, family 等;而有些可數(shù)名詞本身就以復(fù)數(shù) 形式出現(xiàn),如 clothes, glasses (眼鏡)等;有的 可數(shù)名詞單、復(fù)數(shù)形式相同,如 Japanese, sheep, Chinese

12、 等。如: The Chinese people are hardworking and brave. The sports clothes are new. I have one dog. He has two dogs.
