It is not a place where anyone would expect to see strange characters on the street. That is why one woman will never forget the day in 1940 when, as a child, she suddenly saw a funny-looking man ing towards her. “I remember,” she tells her children now, “how wild his white hair looked---as if it had been electrified. That night at dinner when I told my family about the strange, funny man I had seen, my father put down his knife and fork, looked at me and said,‘My child, remember this. Today you saw the greatest man in the world!’” That man was Elbert Einstein. He is often regarded as an old teacher because he has taught chemistry for over 20 years. He is a thin man with thick glasses. The little grey hair and lacking of two teeth make him look older than his real age. He often says that there are many people giving their seats to him in buses. But in fact, I saw him giving his seat to the woman who takes her baby in her arms more than once. If you have his lively and interesting chemistry lessons, you will find that he is no more than 38 years old 本文敘議結(jié)合，對原材料調(diào)控有度，取舍得當，是一篇很好的習作。 修改建議： 1.第二段第一句有chinglish之嫌，可改為:…says that many people give their seats to him. 2.who takes改為 who took。 3.最后一句應(yīng)改為If you have ever had… 參考范文 A teacher Li Tao is a young and old teacher in our school. He is regarded as being old for he has been teaching here for 20 years. He is seen, at the same time, as being young as he is now but 38 years old. He doesn’t have much hair on the head.
