[分析] 本句是復合句。when引導定語從句,先行詞是a time of the day, when在從句中作時間狀語。 [翻譯] 法國人可能用面包、黃油、果醬和或許一些熱飲料開始他們的一天——這是一天中全家人都能聚集在一起的時候。 2.Of course, there will be some group of readers who will hate what you write or at least disagree with it. [分析] 這是一個主從復合句。句子主干是there will be some group of readers,who引導一個定語從句,修飾readers。這個定語從句有兩個并列謂語。hate后面還接了一個賓語從句what you write。 [翻譯] 當然,總會有一些不喜歡你寫的東西或者至少不同意你寫的觀點的讀者。 3.My mistake was that I assumed that because I wanted to take photos, I would end up getting a desirable result. [分析] 本句是復合句。第一個that引導表語從句,表語從句中的that引導賓語從句,作assumed的賓語;在這個賓語從句中,because引導原因狀語從句,其對應的主句中現(xiàn)在分詞短語getting a desirable result作狀語。 [翻譯] 我犯的錯誤就是,我以為因為我想拍照,我就最終會獲得讓我滿意的結(jié)果。 4.Whether you are working towards a degree, a special skill, or some type of personal achievement, the act of studying is like a bridge between where you are now and where you want to be in the future! [分析] 這是一個主從復合句。where you are now和where you want to be in the future都是介詞后面的賓語從句。whether...or...引導讓步狀語從句。 [翻譯] 不管你是為了獲得一個學位、一門特殊的技能,還是為了實現(xiàn)某種個人成就而學習,學習行為就像是一座架設在你現(xiàn)在所在的位置和未來你想達到的位置之間的橋梁。 5.If the person interviewed agreed, he should use a recorder to record what the interviewee said. [分析] 這是一個主從復合句。if引導一個條件狀語從句。what the interviewee said是一個賓語從句。 [翻譯] 如果被采訪者同意的話,他應該使用錄音機把被采訪者講的話錄下來。 6.Kerrs team suggests that relocating colonies might be an answer but Goulson says that because the insects are mobile they are capable of moving northwards if there is suitable habitat available.
