Module 3 Heroes Unit 1 She trained hard,so she became a great player later
Step 1 Warm up
為了讓學生盡快進入學習本模塊的狀態(tài),教師在課前播放歌曲:Hero
Step 2 Present (Activity 1)
讓學生討論:Who is your hero? (出示鄧亞萍圖片)Who is the person? Why is she famous? 學生兩人一組活動,補充和交流信息。
Step 3 Listen (Activity 2)
在開展聽力活動之前,教師可先引導學生學會通過wh
2、o, where, what等引導的問題預測聽力內容。
Ask students to read the questions and choose the correct answers. Play the recording a second time if necessary.
Step 4 Listen and read (Activities 3, 4, 5)
本活動有兩個目的:一是培養(yǎng)學生聽錄音獲取細節(jié)信息的能力;二是在對話中呈現(xiàn)原因、結果狀語從句等語言知識。學生在初次聽錄音時填寫信息表是有一定困難的,所以要增設聽力訓練(詳見素材四)。

●Tell students to look at the words in the box and tell you which can change form (attend, clever).
●Ask students to complete the passage with the correct form of the words.

本活動語音訓練的重點是訓練學生在朗讀復合句時根據(jù)句子意思做適當?shù)耐nD。具體操作:
●教師播放錄音,學生根據(jù)錄音,標記句子中停頓的位置。(Play the recording for students to listen to and mark the pauses.)
●再次播放錄音,全班跟讀。(Play the recording again for students to listen to and repeat.)

本活動要求學生運用所
6、學的狀語從句談論心目中的英雄。學生兩人一組,進行問答練習。教師可提供更多的對話示范。如:
—What do you want to be? Why?
—I want to be a scientist because I like science.
—Who is your hero?
—Qian Xuesen. He is called the “Father of Chinese Rocketry”.
教師讓部分學生向全班同學匯報同伴心目中的英雄,全班投票,選出大家最為敬仰的英雄。
