Module 4 Home alone 　 [狀語從句(3)] 1．I can look after myself, although it wont be easy for me.我能照顧自己，盡管這對我來說并不容易。 2．Although they loved me, I felt a bit unhappy with them. 雖然他們愛我，但我對他們還是有點兒不滿。 3．My clock rings so loudly that it will certainly wake me up. 我的鬧鐘響聲如此大，它肯定會叫醒我的。 4．I became so bored with their orders that I wished they would leave me alone.我對他們的命令如此厭煩，以至于我希望他們讓我一個人待著。 一、結(jié)果狀語從句 1．so…that…引導(dǎo)的結(jié)果狀語從句 意義 表示“如此……以至于……”，so修飾 ________ 或 ________，表示程度，that后接從句表示這一程度造成的影響或結(jié)果。 句型 ①so＋adj./adv.＋that… He got up so late that he was late for school. 他起床太晚了，以至于上學(xué)遲到了。 ②so＋adj.＋a/an＋可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)＋that… This is so interesting a book that we all enjoy reading it.這本書非常有趣，我們都喜歡看。 提示 ①當(dāng)主句與從句的主語一致，且從句為肯定句時，so…that…可以與…enough to結(jié)構(gòu)相互轉(zhuǎn)換。 He is so strong that he can carry the heavy box. →He is strong enough to carry the heavy box. 他很強壯，可以搬動這個重箱子。 ②當(dāng)結(jié)果狀語從句表達否定意義時，可與too…to…結(jié)構(gòu)相互轉(zhuǎn)換。 The boys were so tired that they couldnt walk on. →The boys were too tired to walk on. 這些男孩子太累了，走不動了。 　　2.such…that…引導(dǎo)的結(jié)果狀語從句 意義 表示“如此……以至于……”，such修飾 ________ (其前可以帶形容詞，也可以不帶)，表示程度，that后接從句表示這一程度造成的影響或結(jié)果。 (續(xù)表) 句型 such＋a/an＋adj.＋可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)＋that…/such＋adj.＋不可數(shù)名詞＋that… Kathy is such a lovely girl that we all like to play with her.凱西是如此可愛的一個女孩，我們都愿意和她玩。 提示 如果名詞前有many, much, little(少), few等詞修飾時，則不用such而用so。 She has so little education that she is unfit for the job.她所受教育很少，不適合這份工作。 　　二、讓步狀語從句 讓步狀語從句通常由although, though等連詞引導(dǎo)。二者都不可與but或however連用，但可與yet或still連用。 Though he is young, he knows a lot. 雖然他小，但他懂得很多。 Although I am tired, I must go on working. 盡管我很累，但還得繼續(xù)工作。 Ⅰ.單項選擇 (　　)1.xx自貢________ he is only seven years old, he knows a lot about science.
