2019-2020年高中英語 Unit25 At the conference教案 北師大版必修2一、教學目標與要求通過本單元教學,進一步學習情態(tài)動詞的用法。學生能初步掌握情態(tài)動詞表判斷推測的用法。要求學生能用自己的語言復述課文。正確完成練習冊編排的練習。二、教學重點與難點1重點詞匯 organize;repeat;attend;suppose;earn;send out;get through;ringback;make up;out of breath2重要句型 1)What a lot of information to send out! 2)Would you mind giving a talktoday about DNA? 3)You must be joking! 4)You cant be serious!3語法 學習must,may,might,cant,could等情態(tài)動詞的用法。4日常交際用語 打電話(Making telephones):1)Can you ring up?I cant getthrough2)The lines busyIll try again later3)Could I speak to,please?4)Holdon please5)Can I take a message?6)This isspeaking7)Can you askto ring meback,please?三、課型(一)對話課教具 錄音機,投影儀,電話機。課堂教學設計1教師通過以下步驟導入本課:向學生提出下列問題:1)Suppose you will organize a meeting and you want to ask somepeople to e and make speechesWhat do you have to do?(send out lots of invitations)2)And what other things do you have to do if you want your meeting to be a successful one?(rent meeting halls;book hotels;order meals;arrange buses;make time-tables;selectspeakers;print materials;plan outdoor activities,etc)由學生充分討論,得出他們自己的意見。括號里的內容供教師參考。2準備放對話錄音。借助投影片打出以下聽前提問:1)How many guests are they goingto invite?2)How many buses do they need?放錄音一至兩遍,請學生回答上述問題,教師予以必要訂正。Key:1)They are going to invite over two hundred guests2)They need two buses tomeet the people at the station3再次放對話錄音,學生跟讀。將學生分為兩人一組練習對話。數分鐘后,請兩、三組同學到前面表演。教師指導學生歸納本課中出現的有關打電話時的常用語句(見日常交際用語部分)。也可為學生設計一些情景,由同學編寫對話。情景1:You want to visit the History Museum and you make a phone call,asking aboutthe price of tickets;any cheaper tickets for students;the time the museum is open to public;whether it closes at weekends;what are on show and other things you want to know情景2:You are supposed to organize a class-meeting next MondayYou make a phonecall to your teacher,telling himher your plan and ask for your teachers opinions經數分鐘練習后,教師請幾位同學借助電話機到前面進行表演,教師予以講評。提醒學生在打電話時不可對視。也可鼓勵學生自己設計其他情節(jié)編寫對話。4要求學生將該課對話以瑪麗的口吻改寫為一篇短文。教師可給予必要的提示。提示語:1)be busy organizing a conference;2)send out lots of invitations;3)make aphone call to bus pany;4)cant see clearly a name;5)Lizzy helps me給出首句:We are very busy now because we are organizing a large medical conference要求學生根據對話,參照老師所給提示及首句,編寫短文。Model:We are very busy now because we about at such a conference?板書學生提及的和醫(yī)學有關的話題,并借此復習有關詞語。以下供教師參考:(cancer;smoking and health;heart trouble;high blood pressure;food and health;sports and health;the problem of losing weight;how to protect eyes;effect of pollution onhealth;etc)3教師給出讀前提問:1)Why did DrBaker think that the invitation was funny?2)Whycouldnt the main speaker give the talk?教師給學生數分鐘,要求學生快速閱讀課文。之后請同學回答上述問題。Key:1)Because usually DrBaker was not invited to such a medical conference2)Themain speaker could not give her talk because her plane was very late as a result of bad weath-er at the anything about his plan for the fu-ture5布置作業(yè)1)預習第26單元;2)完成練習冊中安排的練習。四、難句分析1Lizzy:Yes,there must be over two hundred bere是的,這兒想必有200多份。Lizzy:It must be a“D”想必是字母“D”。must作“想必、準是,一定”解,用來表示對某事確有把握的推論或揣測。雖然句中的must也可用may代替,但must語氣更肯定。例如:The farmers must be very tired;theyve kept sowing all the morning農夫們想必很累了,他們整個上午一直在播種。I always meet him in the streetHe must live quite near here我總在這條街上碰到他,想必他就住在附近。must表示推測常用在肯定句中。在疑問句中用can,否定句中用cant。例如:What do you think this invitation can mean?你認為這份請柬可能意味著什么?She cant be a professorshes so young她不可能是教授她還很年輕。在否定句中,也有用cant表示推測的,意思是“想必不,準是不”。例如:I can hear the Browns phone bell ringing but no one is answering it;They cant be athome我聽到布朗家的電話鈴在響,但是沒有人接,他們想必都不在家。2Dr Baker replied to the invitation,accepting it貝克博士還是答復了請柬,接受了邀請。1)reply可作動詞,也可作名詞。作不及物動詞時,意思是“回答”,可用reply to(sbsth)表示“對作出的回答”;作及物動詞時,是“答到、回答說”的意思,后跟直接引語或賓語從句,不直接跟人或物作賓語。作名詞時,是“回答、答復”之意,后面可跟介詞to的短語。例如:She cried,but didnt reply她哭了,但不回答。Please reply to my question請回答我的問題。He replied that he didnt know the secret他回答說他不知道這個秘密。She didnt lift her head,and made no reply她頭也不抬,又不回答。reply和answer都有“回答”的意思,有時可以通用,但reply比answer正式,指經過思考的答復。二者都可以作及物動詞,answer可直接跟名詞作賓語。例如:Can you answer myquestion?Can you reply to my question?你能回答我的問題嗎?2)accepting it是-ing短語,表示伴隨動作,相當于and accepted it。例如:The boss went to see MrKing,praising him for his excellent work老板去看望了金先生,表揚了他出色的工作。注意:accept和receive的區(qū)別:accept和receive都有“收到”的意思。但receive只表示客觀上“收到某物”,與主觀愿望無關,而accept表示主觀上“樂意接受某物”。例如:He received the gift,but he did not accept it他收到了禮物,但他沒接受。I have received an invitation from JohnShall I accept it or refuse it?我收到了約翰的請柬,我是接受還是拒絕?3Would you mind giving a talk today about DNA?能不能請你今天作一個關于DNA的報告?“Would you mind+doing sth?”是日常交際用語,表示禮貌地提出請求。例如:Would you mind sending him a message for me?請你幫我?guī)€口信給他好嗎?Would you mind fetching me some water,please?勞駕給我打點水好嗎?4Dr Lively was going to talk on that very subject today萊芙利博士今天原先要談的正好是這個題目。介詞on在句中作“關于”(about)解。例如:I want to speak to you on a very serious subject我想跟你談一個非常嚴肅的問題。I cant agree with you on this point關于這一點,我不能同意你的意見。句中的very是形容詞,修飾后面的名詞subject,用來加強語氣,作“正好”解。例如:Thats the very thing I need那正是我需要的東西。She determined to go that very afternoon她決定就在當天下午走。- 配套講稿:
