1、Unit 4 What can you do A Let’s learn 教案 教學主題 義務教育教科書 英語（PEP）五年級上冊 Unit 4 What can you do? A Let’s learn 科目 英語 教學對象 五年級學生 課時 一課時 一、教材設計想法 本單元的主題是文娛活動，通過新的語境和趣味活動組成。整個單元在內(nèi)容上從能為English Party做什么到幫助別人學習新的文娛活動。本課為第二課時，課型定位為詞匯課，本課時依舊圍繞“English party”展開單詞的學習。 結(jié)合第一課時的語言和內(nèi)容，將內(nèi)容分為以下幾個步驟展開： 1. 復習

2、舊知。We’ll have 3 new teachers. What do you want to know about the new teachers? 根據(jù)真實情景，激發(fā)學生討論欲望，在對話中復習詞組和語言。 2. 新授展開。What can they do? 觀看視頻、聽音頻了解新外教會做的事情，學習本課詞組。 3. 新知操練。What can you do? 詢問同伴，以句帶詞，了解班級里同學們會的活動。 4. 落實書寫。What can the students do for the English party? 回歸書本，承接第一課時English party的話題，了解

3、更多的同學能為English party做的事情，進一步鞏固新知。 5. 自信展示，在活動中用語言。What can you do for the English party at our school? 給出本校有English Party任務，讓學生在活動中習得語言。 二、教學重點、難點 1. 重點：能夠聽、說、讀、寫新授詞匯，能夠使用正確句型在適合的情境中談論運用詞匯。 2. 難點：詞組draw cartoons和單詞songs中s /z/的發(fā)音。 三、教學目標 1. 知識與技能目標： (1) 在語境中學習，能聽、說、讀、寫單詞或詞組：dance, sing English

4、 songs, do kung fu, play the pipa, draw cartoons，理解并運用以上詞匯。 (2) 在語境中學習，理解并運用以下句型：What can you do? I can…談論并表演文娛活動。 2. 情感態(tài)度目標： 鼓勵學生了解身邊同學具有的才藝，增進同學間的了解，做生活中的有心人。 四、教學準備 PPT課件，人物頭像、磁鐵卡。 五、教學過程 1. Warm-up / Revision (1) Introduce the new teachers T: Hey, everyone! I’ve got good news today. We’

S: What can they do? ... 【設計意圖】結(jié)合學校要引進新外教的情境，引出學生不熟悉的對象，激發(fā)學生對新老師的好奇感，實現(xiàn)有信息差的談話內(nèi)容。學生在問問題了解新老師的過程中，復習已學句型。 (2) Talk

6、about what the new teachers can do. T: First, let’s see who they are. Ss: Sam, Helen and Tony. T: Here are something that they can do. Have a guess. S: Maybe they can… T: Why do you think of that? S: I think they can speak English, because they are from England and the USA. S: Maybe they can

7、sing songs. Maybe they are music teachers. S: Maybe they can cook a big dinner. Because on Thanksgiving Day, they cook a big dinner. … 【設計意圖】通過讓學生猜一猜新老師能做的事情，復習適合談論這個話題的詞組。 2. Presentation and practice Get to know what the new teachers can do. (1) Watch the video and discuss T: I asked them t

8、he same question as well. Watch the video and see what they can do. Ss watch the video. (2) Discuss what they’ve seen in the video in pairs. 【設計意圖】承接第一課時句型What can you do? 學生在情境中感知新詞組。 (2) Learn the new phrases ① Listen again and match T: What can they do? Listen, choose one and talk about it.

9、 a. S: Sam can sing English songs. T: Listen! （教師播放錄音） 學生聽音，嘗試發(fā)音。 出示單詞，學生用自然拼音法拼讀。 朗讀操練。 教師呈現(xiàn)板書，將常見字母組合挖空，學生記憶，觀看書寫。 b. S: Sam can draw cartoons. T: Listen! T: Which group are cartoons? 學生區(qū)別pictures和cartoons T: What cartoons do you know? S: I know… c. S: Helen can dance and do kung fu.

10、d. S: Tony can play the pipa and play the guzheng. T: Which picture is pipa? Which one is the guzheng? 單詞教學順序按照sing English songs的順序展開。 【設計意圖】以上活動主要是對詞組的音、形教學。先出示單詞的音，讓學生感知這個單詞的發(fā)音。再出現(xiàn)單詞的形，讓學生觀察后盡量用自然拼讀法來拼讀單詞。通過將常見字母組合挖空，幫助學生記憶單詞。 ② Read and match T: I’ve got some of their pictures. What about you? What can you do? S: I can sing English songs. T: Really? What English songs can sing? S: 生唱 ②

13、 Pair work A: What can you do? B: I can… 【設計意圖】在學習完新外教會做的事情后，學生討論自己會做的事情。結(jié)合前一課時的句型，詢問同伴們會做的事情，在句子中操練詞組。 3. Consolidation and extension (1) Listen and tick T: In the last lesson, we know that Miss White’s students will have an English party. When will be the English party? Ss: Next Tuesday. T

Listen and tick. 教師播放錄音兩次。 S: They can play the pipa, dance, do kung fu, draw cartoons and sing English songs. 【設計意圖】回歸課文，延續(xù)上一課時的話題，增加人物，了解書本中學生們會做的事情。這次的聽力練習是對學生音形對應的鞏固。學生從聽單詞到在句子中聽單詞，增加難度，進一步鞏固學生對新詞組的掌握。 (2) Listen and read T: Open your books and

15、 turn to page 39. Let’s check. 聽錄音再跟讀一遍，整體讀一遍。 【設計意圖】學生做完聽力后到書本上去校對，再一次糾正發(fā)音。 (3) Write a report to Miss White T: Miss White needs a report about what her students can do. Can you write the report to Miss White? 學生寫好后校對。 【設計意圖】通過設置寫一個報告給Miss White，向她報告學生們都能做什么的書寫活動，鞏固書寫。 (4) Task: Get ready fo

16、r the English Party! ① T: Miss White and her students will have an English party next Tuesday. We’ll have an English party next Friday! The three new teachers will come too.
