1、Unit 5 A Circus in the Park教學設計一、 課題:Vocabulary, Target and Practice 1二、 課型:詞匯課三、教學目標:本課時要求學生理解并運用新單詞good, bad, tasty, yucky, snowy, spicy, Thailand, Canada。以及新句型Where were you yesterday? I was in.What was the food like? It was spicy and tasty.等詢問和表達過去的一些行為的話題二、教學重點,難點:1. 重點:正確理解并熟練運用本課新單詞和句型2. 難點:能
2、夠正確運用一般過去時詢問生活中的一些事件并能正確回答。三、 教學準備:教學PPT四、教學過程:Step 1. Greetings and Lead-in.T: Good morning, boys and girls.S: Good morning, sir.T: Sit down, please. Today, I am so happy, because I got a picture from my friend, John. Look! Is it a beautiful picture? ( S: Yes.) T: Oh, There is a topic on the pictur
3、e. Lets say it. OK?S: Yes. “Unit 5 A circus in the Park, Vocabulary and Target.” (設計意圖:導入課題,讓學生形成感觀印象。)(展示Canada和China的圖片,并提問。)Step 2. Presentation.1學習新詞Canada。 T: Look! This is my friend, John. We call him Uncle John。Can you guess? Where is John from?(展示John的圖片)T: Yes, he is from Canada. Do you kno
4、w something about Canada?(展示Canada的圖片,并讓學生朗讀。)(設計意圖:通過提問和圖片展示學習詞匯Canada,讓學生更容易學習新詞,也為后面的學習做鋪墊。)2. 學習新詞snowy 和tasty。T:Do you know something about Canada? Lets look at the pictures and answer my questions. (1) Whats the weather like in Canada? S: Its snowy and cold. (2) Whats the weather like in Taish
5、an today? S: Its cloudy and cool. (3) Whats the food like in Canada? S: Its tasty. ( T: Yes, its tasty. And, its very cold in Canda, so they like the cold food in Canada, too.) (4) What about Taishans food? S: Its tasty. ( T: Yes, its tasty, too. And, its hot, not cold.)(設計意圖:通過圖片對Canada進行介紹,以讓學生了解更
6、多的語言知識背景,也為后面的語言輸出做好準備和鋪墊。)3.學習新詞和新句型。 T: Uncle John likes travelling the word. He visited many places. Do you know where they are? (展示圖片,并讓學生跟讀。特別注意:Island)T: Yesterday, we talked on WeChat. Lets look and read. (展示對話,學生跟讀。注意學習新詞:Thailand)4. 回答問題。(1) What was the weather like in Thailand? S: It was
7、sunny and hot.(2) What was the food like? S: It was spicy and tasty.(學習新詞:spicy 和tast.)(設計意圖:通過WeChat情景學習新詞匯和新句型,使學生能把詞匯與句型相融合進行學習,增加學生的學習趣味,也為下面的學習做鋪墊。)Step 3. Practice.1. 朗讀單詞. 2. 選擇正確的答案.(設計意圖:通過朗讀單詞,加強鞏固新詞匯的學習,并進行糾正;通過練習,讓學生對新詞匯的運用理解更深刻。)3. 聽音, 回答問題. (內(nèi)容是Target的對話.) 4. 聽音,配對練習.(內(nèi)容是Practice 1聽力練習
8、.)(設計意圖:聽音、模仿朗讀和回答問題的方式,讓學生更好地掌握Target的知識內(nèi)容與本節(jié)的新句型;也通過聽音配對練習,對所學知識進行鞏固。)5. 填空練習. 6. Play a game. ( the Bang Bang Game.) 7. 根據(jù)圖片寫短文.8. 對話操練. 9. 書寫作文.(設計意圖:通過填空練習來進行詞匯使用的鞏固與檢測;通過游戲加強學生對新單詞的辯讀能力;最后進行書寫輸出,培養(yǎng)學生的輸出能力。)Step 4. Summary.(設計意圖:通過短文方式進行小結,培養(yǎng)學生“寓詞于句中”的知識運用能力。)Step 5. Homework.Write a Moment on Wechat with pictures, and share it to your teacher or your friends.(設計意圖:布置作業(yè),檢測學生對知識的掌握程度,并培養(yǎng)學生寫的輸出能力。)
