Lesson 1. Ping-pong and Basketball 教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1.知識目標(biāo):能四會單詞sport,ping-pong,badminton,basketball,soccer,T-shirt,shorts,runners;能靈活使用句子What’s your favourite sport? My favoutite sport is ____./ I like ____ best. What do you wear? I wear ____ ,____ and____ to play ____. 2.能力目標(biāo):能運用所學(xué)的英語詞匯和句式解決體育運動中所遇到的問題。 3.情感目標(biāo):培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛運動的思想品質(zhì),提高對運動項目的認(rèn)識。 教學(xué)重、難點: 要求四會的單詞和要求掌握的句式。 教具、學(xué)具準(zhǔn)備: 1.單詞卡片,要求四會單詞的實物,課后習(xí)題卡(每人一份)。 2.錄音機或課件。 教學(xué)過程: Class Opening and Review 1.Let’s guess. If you want to make supper/take a bath/watch TV/read books/buy things/play ping-pong. Where do you go? I go to the kitchen/the bathroom/the livingroom/the library/the store/the gym. 有必要的話,拿出這些詞的卡片,進(jìn)行復(fù)習(xí)一下。 (設(shè)計意圖:這個環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)置既復(fù)習(xí)了一些動詞性詞組,又引出了今天課文中提到的地點體育館和商店。) 2.利用單詞卡片What’s your favourite clothes? My favourite clothes is ____. 也可以直接提問學(xué)生:Today is warm/cool,what are you wearing? What’s your favourite clothes? (設(shè)計意圖:這個環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)置用來復(fù)習(xí)服裝的詞匯,同時復(fù)習(xí)What’s your favourite ____?這個句式,用這些詞匯和句式引出新的服裝詞匯和新句式。) New Concepts 1.利用復(fù)習(xí)二中的句式引出What’s your favourite sport?學(xué)習(xí)單詞sport, 出示單詞卡片,聯(lián)系朗讀,拼讀。 并讓學(xué)生模仿回答My favourite sport is ping-pong/badminton. 2.學(xué)生熟悉句式后,再利用實物和單詞卡片學(xué)習(xí)單詞 basketball,soccer. 3.帶入句式進(jìn)行練習(xí)??梢允沁B接式練習(xí),也可以小組練習(xí)。 4.告訴學(xué)生回答這個問題還可以使用一個更簡單的句式I like ____ best. 5.兩人一組做問答練習(xí)。 6.讓學(xué)生根據(jù)已有知識說出踢足球,打籃球都用play. (設(shè)計意圖:利用已有知識引出新知識,減小教學(xué)的難度,同時可以放手讓學(xué)生自己說出新句式,教師加以指導(dǎo)就可以了,通過練習(xí)鞏固新知。) 7.If you want to play basketball, what do you wear?學(xué)習(xí)服裝詞匯I wear shorts,T-shirt.并引出runners,出示單詞卡片,拼讀單詞,并讓學(xué)生練習(xí)用這些詞說一個句子。 8.兩人一組練習(xí)這組句式。 9.聽錄音兩遍,注意any和some,either 和too的讀音和用法。 10.完成課后習(xí)題并兩人一組自編對話。 11.利用實物匯報演出。 (設(shè)計意圖:學(xué)習(xí)第二部分內(nèi)容時,要把either 和too的用法提一下, any和some的用法留到第二課去解決。編對話的內(nèi)容可根據(jù)完成習(xí)題的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行,并利用實物表演出來,運用于實際生活中。) Class Clossing Activity book Homework Draw your favourite sport and write your favourite sport. 板書設(shè)計: Lesson 1. My favourite sport is ____./ I like ____ best. 2.T: What’s this/that? S: It’s a T-shirt? T: Do you like this T-shirt or that T-shirt? S: I like this one. T: What are these/those? S: They are runners. T: Do you like these runners or those runners? S: I like/want these runners. (設(shè)計意圖:利用已有知識引出新知識,減小教學(xué)的難度,or在以前的教學(xué)中已多次用到,學(xué)生都已掌握,不必再多費時間,加深學(xué)生對this,that, these,those用法的印象為下面的學(xué)習(xí)做鋪墊。) New Concepts 1.If I want to play ping-pong,we need some ping-pong balls.Say “need”,please.讓學(xué)生利用 need 造句。 2.Do you have any balls? Say “any”,please.講清some和any的用法,都跟可數(shù)名詞的復(fù)數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞,如:some/any shorts;some/any soup;some用在肯定句中,any用在否定和問句中,舉例說明。 3.完成課后習(xí)題。 4.聽錄音兩至三遍。同時講解美元和元的區(qū)別。如:one dollar,two dollars;one yuan,two yuan.練習(xí)一下如何問多少錢How much is it? How much are they? 5.布置商店的環(huán)境,讓學(xué)生根據(jù)課文編短劇,三、四人一組。 6.匯報演出。 (設(shè)計意圖:本課是對話形式的課文教學(xué),主要是環(huán)境的設(shè)置,要讓學(xué)生在實際的生活環(huán)境中學(xué)習(xí)本文,首先要解決課文中的重難點,也就是新單詞和一些主要句式,理清脈絡(luò)。突破了重難點,理清了脈絡(luò),學(xué)生在表演對話時就沒有很大的困難了。) Class Clossing Activity book Homework 親自到體育用品商店買一次東西并運用所學(xué)語言。 板書設(shè)計: Lesson2. Say “throw,throwing”,please.學(xué)生模仿練習(xí)。 4.教師沒投中就說This is too hard. The basketball is too heavy. 學(xué)生模仿練習(xí)。 5.教師拿著乒乓球投籃,一下就投中了就說This is too easy. The ping-pong ball is light. 學(xué)生模仿練習(xí)。 6.然后把籃球傳給別的學(xué)生并說I’m throwing the basketball. He’s catching the basketball. Say “catch,catching”,please. 學(xué)生模仿練習(xí)。 7.教師又拿起乒乓球拍并告訴學(xué)生This is a paddle. I’m hitting the ping-pong ball. Say “paddle,hit,hitting”,please. 學(xué)生模仿練習(xí)。 8.聽錄音兩至三遍,完成課后習(xí)題。 9.學(xué)生分組編對話。 10.匯報演出。 (設(shè)計意圖:這節(jié)課的教學(xué)可在教室布置環(huán)境也可以到操場去上,讓學(xué)生真正體會籃球和乒乓球運動,激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)興趣。在句子中學(xué)習(xí)單詞,做到詞不離句,最后過度到對話練習(xí),形成篇章,對學(xué)生的綜合語言運用能力有了很大的提升。) Class Clossing Activity book Homework 課下打籃球和乒乓球并把所學(xué)語言運用進(jìn)去。 板書設(shè)計: Lesson 3. Write three columns of words on the blackboard and ask for volunteers to match them correctly. As each student makes a match, he or she says “Yesterday I___de. Today I___. Tomorrow I am going to__. Introduce Add “buy” “teach” and “think” to your “today” column. Ask the students to give you the future tense for each verb and write them under your “tomorrow” column. Then write “taught” “thought” “bought” in a different order than the other two columns, and ask the students to guess how they match with the present-tense verbs. Point out the similarities in spelling “bought” “taught” “thought” Use the student book Pause after Number 1 in the student book. Review the story so far. Today Jenny and Li Ming went to the store buy some clothes for Li Ming to the pictures in the student book. Who are they talking to? Note the word “player” in the lesson. A “players” plays something, such as a sport. Practice Play “What’s wrong?” to practice the new past tense verbs, and other tenses and verbs. Play “spelling Bee” to practice spelling any vocabulary in this unit. Tech “Oh, what did you do?” in Number 3 of the student book. Use the activity book Number 2 in the activity book is a listening exercise. The students listen to each sentence on the audiotape and change it into the past—tense. You will win at last. 教學(xué)重點、難點:1. words about the game 2.win and lose 教具、學(xué)具:A big picture of this lesson and a tape 教學(xué)過程: Class opening and review Play “Charades” to review occupations the students mastered in Levels 1, 2 and 7: teacher, clerk, cashier, waitress and bus driver. After the students have guessed these occupations, add “doctor” and “police officer”. The students mastered these words orally in Level 1, but they haven’t seen them for a long time. Whisper the translation for these occupations to the students acting them out, and help the class guess the occupations with lots of prompts and encouragement. You can, for example, draw blanks on the blackboard and slowly write in the letters as you sound out more and more of each occupation. Introduce Demonstrate “player” “team” “game” with six volunteers and a game of “spelling bee” divide the volunteers into two teams of three. Give player a sheet of coloured paper to hold, the same colour for each team. Demonstrate “win” and “l(fā)ose” after the game is done. Point to the teams and as you say “You win/lose” Use the student book Pause after Number 1 in the student book. Review the story so far. Li Ming and Jenny have been learning about sports. Look at the pictures in the student book. What are they doing now? Note some of the idiom in this lesson: Bob plays basketball “for fun” Jenny and Li Ming “jump up and down” Li Ming asks Jenny “What’s the score?” What do the students think these phrases mean? Practice Divide the class into small groups. In each group. Some students pretend that they want to learn a game that the other students know how to learn a game that you play in class.
