No eating or drinking, keep off the grass, be quiet 2. 進一步鞏固掌握句型:What does it/this sign mean? It means you/we must/should/shouldn’t… Can I …? No, you can’t. You should … now. 重點難點:1.各標志讀法及含義 2. 進一步鞏固掌握句型:What does it/this sign mean? It means you/we must/should/shouldn’t… 教 學 過 程 第一步:復習(課文) T: (PPT 1 顯示課題) Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you again. 上節(jié)課我們一起認識了Ben的表弟Jack. They went to a park and talked about the public signs there. 他們在公園里認識了很多公共標志。Now let’s watch the cartoon again and review. 現(xiàn)在我們一起來看動畫再回顧一遍吧?。úシ耪n文動畫) T: Can you remember the meaning of those signs? 同學們,你們還記得課文中公共標志的含義嗎? Please look at the signs here, (PPT 2顯示三個標志) I’ll be little Jack, can you be Ben ? 現(xiàn)在由老師來扮演Jack, 你能扮演Ben來與老師一起演一演嗎?下面由一位同學和我來為大家做示范,請你認真看,仔細聽哦! T: Hello, Ben. Shall we go to the park? S: OK. Let’s go. T: Oh, there’re a lot of signs here, Ben. S: Yes. T: Look! What does the sign on the wall mean? S: It means ‘ Danger’. T: Can I go in the building? S: No, you should stay away from it. T: Oh, I see! There’s a sign on the grass. What does that mean? S: It means ‘ Keep off the grass.’ T: What does that mean? S: That means we shouldn’t walk on the grass. T: And the sign on the bird’s cage is interesting. What does it mean? S: It means ‘Be quiet’. T: Oh, I learn a lot about public signs. Thank you, Ben. T: 怎么樣,你看懂了嗎? 課后你也可以來試一試表演課文,不一定要與原文一模一樣,重要的是通過自己的理解來表演。 (本步驟設計說明:本課重點學習8種標志語,其中有3種在A部分中已經(jīng)出現(xiàn)。因此在本部分,教師安排對于課文的復習表演,在復習舊知的基礎上為本課教學做鋪墊。) 第二步: 詞匯學習 1.T: Jack has known three signs in the park. Now Ben and Jack are looking at some public signs on the Internet. 在了解了公園里的標志之后,現(xiàn)在Jack和Ben正在因特網(wǎng)上搜集更多的公共標志。Now, please look at these signs and match, (PPT 3顯示五個標志和若干地點圖片) 請你把這些標志與它們可能出現(xiàn)的地點連起來,并且嘗試用英語表述這些公共標志的含義,你可以與同學討論討論, you can begin! (學生進行連線與討論) 2. T:OK. 現(xiàn)在請你看看正確答案吧!(邊說PPT 3顯示正確答案) T: We can see the first sign in the hospital and many other public places. 我們可以在醫(yī)院以及很多其它公共場合看到這個標志。What does it mean? t means’ No smoking’. (PPT 4顯示放大標志及含義 生詞卡帶讀) T: So should people smoke when they see this sign? 那么當人們看到這個標志時可以吸煙嗎? T: Right! They shouldn’t smoke. So we can say (點擊出現(xiàn)句子) It means we shouldn’t smoke here, understand? (帶讀,教授) 3. T: And we can see the second sign in those places, too. (PPT5 顯示正確連線) T: And what does this sign mean? It means‘No littering’. (PPT 6顯示放大標志及含義 生詞卡帶讀) T: Yes. (PPT9 顯示正確連線, PPT 10 顯示放大標志及含義 生詞卡帶讀) No eating or drinking It means we shouldn’t drink or eat here. (PPT11 顯示正確連線, PPT 12 顯示放大標志及含義 生詞卡帶讀) 4. T: 現(xiàn)在這些公共標志你都學會了嗎?Let’s play a game, OK? (稍停) But before that, let’s review them. Now read after me. (PPT 13 依次顯示B部分8個標志及含義 教師帶讀 每個之間稍做停頓) 5. T: Now. Let’s play a game called ‘ What’s missing’ 現(xiàn)在我們一起來做一個游戲,游戲的名字叫做What’s missing? 請你仔細看老師出示的幾個標志,然后當老師再次出示時,找出與第一次相比少了哪一個公共標志,大聲說出來,我們來比一比,誰的反應最快!Are you ready? (老師與鏡頭前學生玩此游戲) T: OK. 這個游戲我們先玩到這里,以后你??捎眠@個游戲來幫助自己復習鞏固單詞,既輕松又愉快。 (本步驟設計說明:本部分不僅需要教會學生幾個標志的名稱,更需要教師引導學生結合情景理解標志含義并且用語言表述出來,這樣還可以為后面CD部分打下基礎。所以通過連線可以把每個標志放入相應場景,幫助學生在小組中進行探究,再進行教學可以加深理解。而游戲可以幫助學生進一步鞏固已學知識。) 第三步: 句型操練 1. T: Now, boys and girls, look, where are Jack and Ben now? ( PPT 15 顯示Part C 6幅畫) Oh, they’re at Jinling Zoo now. And they are talking about the signs again. Now can you also talk about the signs like them? (PPT 18 顯示C部分6幅圖)請你也仿照Ben和Jack的對話,和你的同學練習談論這些標志的含義。You can start! ( 練習后向學生一幅一幅反饋正確答案 PPT 19-23) 例:S1: What does this sign mean? Step 3 Consolidation Make up a dialogue about meeting someone at the airport . Divide the class into small groups . Step 4 Summary This lesson we understand that Li Ming arrived Canada . Danny and Jenny meet Li Ming at an airport . We learned how to ask and answer the phrases “ What time is it ? It’s ”.
