Canada is north of America and Mexico is south of America. 2.了解句子中的邏輯重音。3.能夠隨著韻律熟練朗讀Chant。預習學案：1.提高合作能力，能根據(jù)短文內容提問并予以回答。2.講述某地的地理位置和相關的基本信息。導學案：Activity 1 Look, listen and point.活動目標：學習并掌握基礎句式并能根據(jù)自己所聽懂的課文內容進行問答。1.Read the word-News. Try to get four words, they are: north, east, west and south. 2Talk about American map, and try to find New York, San Francisco.New York is in the east of America.San Francisco is in the west of America.3Try to find Canada and Mexico.Where is Canada? It is north of America.Where is Mexico? It is south of America.4Help the children to sum up , New York and San Francisco are cities in America, Canada and Mexico are countries.5Listen to tape and point to four places. 6Listen to the tape again and then ask questions.Activity 2 Now ask and answer.活動目標: 通過看中國地圖,自己找出中國主要城市的位置,在掌握重點句式的基礎上, 嘗試表達。1 Look at the map of China, try to find the cities you know, and then tell us where they are?Activity 3 Listen and repeat. There is Chinese dancing.2.老師放錄音,學生跟讀課文.請學生書中的圖片,描述圖中有什么并用There is和There are說句子 .3.全班一起完成AB練習1.先讓學生討論如何完成這封Email,然后帶領全班朗讀例句和提示詞,再播放錄音.課堂檢測：老師請學生們一起描述教室里的物品,如:There s a blackboard, There are many chairs/ow,desk,pen,pencil,bag,girl,boy等.課后作業(yè):給自己的朋友發(fā)一封email,介紹自己游覽過的城市.板書設計:Unit 1 Chinatown in AmericaTheres a Chinatown in New York!There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.
