Unit 1 Winter Activities文化和語言注釋1. 本單元的話題是有關冬天的活動(包括春節(jié)的活動),主要的功能是談論寒假的生活,語法學習內容為一般過去時。語音學習內容為元音字母a,e,i,o,u在開音節(jié)中的讀音規(guī)則總復習。2. Hi,Julia. Did you go anywhere in winter? (你好,朱莉婭。冬天你去哪兒了嗎?)在這個句子中anywhere 是副詞,意思是“在、向或到任何地方”。anywhere多用于否定句或疑問句,如:I cant find my pen anywhere.(我到處都找不到我的鋼筆。)Did you see it anywhere?(你有沒有在什么地方看見它?)3. I climbed a famous mountain.(我登上了一座著名的山。)famous是形容詞,意思是“出名的,著名的”。例如:Shanghai is a famous city.(上海是一座著名的城市。)“以出名”的表達法是 be famous for,如:This city is famous for its tea.(這個城市以茶葉出名。)4. I traveled along the Yangtze River.(我沿著長江旅行。)(1) along 是介詞,意思是“沿著,順著,靠著邊”,如:Go for a walk along the road.(沿著路散步。)A dog is running along the wall.(一條狗正沿著墻跑。)(2) the Yangtze River揚子江,也就是長江。在江河的名字前面要使用定冠詞the,如:the Yellow River(黃河),the Nile(尼羅河)。5. Did you go to see the Ice and Snow Festival? (你去看冰雪節(jié)了嗎?)注意類似的表達法:Kite Festival(風箏節(jié)),Film Festival(電影節(jié))。8.There was a big ice city. There were many people.(有一座很大的冰雕城,那里有很多人。)注意there be的過去時教學。如:There was a basketball game between Class One and Class Two yesterday afternoon.(昨天下午一班和二班有一場籃球賽。)9. Ben and I made a snowman.(我和本堆了個雪人。)(1)在漢語里,“我和本”要先講“我”,在英語中“I ”則要放到最后,說成“Ben and I”。又如:“我和爸爸媽媽”要說成 “my father,mother and I”。(2)snowman(雪人)的復數形式是 snowmen,make 的過去式是made。10. And I took a photo of it on my mobile.(我用手機給雪人拍了張照片。)此處it指的是“雪人”。11. Show me the photo,please.(請把照片給我看看。)這個句子也可以說成 Show the photo to me,please.又如:Show me your homework./Show your homework to me.(請把你的作業(yè)給我看看。)12. Its short and fat.(雪人又矮又胖。)(1) fat是形容詞,意思是“胖的,肥的”。注意:在英語中說一個人fat會顯得很不尊重他人,一般用委婉語 stout (壯的)來替代。(2) short解釋為“矮的”時,其反義詞是“高的”tall;short 解釋為“短的”時,其反義詞是 “長的”long。13. Many children go back to their hometown with their parents.(很多兒童和他們的父母一起回到家鄉(xiāng)。)go back to是“回到某處”的意思,如:Pupils go back to school on September 1st. (九月一日學生們回到了學校。)14.grandparents是“祖父母,外婆外公”的意思,grandchildren 是“孫子,孫女,外孫,外孫女”的意思。grandson 是“孫子,外孫”的意思,granddaughter 是“孫女,外孫女”的意思。15.課本第7頁的韻律詩及其譯文如下:SightseeingI climbed a mountain,A famous mountain.I traveled along a river,A long, long river.I went skating on a lake,A beautiful lake.觀光游覽我登上了一座山,一座名山。我沿著大江旅行,一條長長的江。我在湖上滑冰,風景秀麗的湖。Part A教學目標 語言知識目標1.學習詞匯:anywhere,famous,travel,along,the Yangtze River,go back。2.學習句型:Did you go anywhere in winter?Yes. I went to Shandong.I climbed a famous mountain.3. 復習鞏固元音字母a,e,i,o,u在開音節(jié)中的發(fā)音。4. 學說韻律詩:Sightseeing。5. 功能:假日活動。 語言技能目標1.能準確使用動詞的過去式講述過去發(fā)生的事情。2.能運用所學語言完成調查任務。3.能根據調查結果談一談一次外出旅游的活動。 情感態(tài)度合理安排假期,讓自己的假期生活愉快而充實。教具準備1.五個元音字母卡片。2.有關單詞和詞組卡片。3.一張中國地圖。4.錄音機或多媒體教學光盤。教學過程Step 1Warming up1.師生互致問候。2.教師播放本套教材五年級下冊第7頁的韻律詩:How Was Your Vacation? 全班學生模仿錄音說一說。Step 2 Review1.根據韻律詩內容,教師說:“Winter vacation was just over. Can you tell me your winter activities?”(板書 Winter Activities)2.學生自由說,教師在黑板上板書學生說到的句子中的單詞或詞組,如:went tovisiteddid my homeworkplayed football3.教師出示學過的動詞原形及其過去式,復習它們的音、義、形及變化規(guī)律。4.教師再出示一些動詞詞組,如:took some photos,went skating,climbed a mountain,listened to music等,進行復習鞏固活動。5.游戲限時搶答。游戲規(guī)則:教師隨機出示動詞過去式的單詞卡片,學生按組,一個接一個說出相應的動詞詞組,看哪一組在限定的時間里說的詞組多且不重復。如:教師出示went第一組學生A:went to Beijing教師出示took第一組學生B:took some photos教師出示played第一組學生C:played football教師出示went第一組學生D:went swimming6.教師揭示課題,并在黑板上寫有Winter Activities的地方將課題補充完整:Unit 1 Winter Activities Part A。Step 3Presentation(一)呈現課文內容并學習新知識1.課文導入。(1)教師說:“Just now we talked about our winter activities. Look! Wang Tao,Julia and Sally are talking about their winter activities. What did they say?”(2)教師請學生完整地聽一遍課文錄音或觀看多媒體教學光盤,讓學生整體感知課文。并在黑板的左邊板書問題:Where did Julia/Wang Tao/Sally go in winter?2.教學句子:I traveled along the Yangtze River.(1)請學生再讀課文,然后回答問題。(2)教師出示一張中國地圖,請學生指出the Yangtze River的位置,引導學生說:“Its the Yangtze River. Its a very long river.”(3)教學單詞travel及其過去式traveled。(4)教學介詞along。along 的意思是“沿著,順著,靠著邊”,例如:They are walking along the river.(他們正沿著河散步。)There are many trees along the street.(沿街有很多樹木。)Walk along this road and you will find the library.(順著這條路走,你會找到圖書館。)3.教學單詞famous。(1)教師再提出問題:“What did they do there?”然后分段播放課文錄音,請學生認真聽并找出問題的答案:Julia climbed a famous mountain in Shandong.Wang Tao took many photos when he traveled along the Yangtze River.Sally went skating on the lake.(2)教學單詞famous,并請學生用famous來說一說一些著名的風景名勝,如:Do you know the Great Wall?Yes. It is very famous in the world.Big Ben is a famous clock in the world.4.學習單詞anywhere及句型Did you go anywhere in winter?(1)教師在黑板上句子Where did go in winter?的旁邊板書句子:Did you go anywhere in winter?請學生讀課文對話,找到該句話,并通過上下文,猜測這個句子的意思。(2)教師告訴學生,這兩句話的意思大致相同,然后教學單詞anywhere。(二)熟讀課文內容并表演對話1.教師再播放課文錄音或多媒體教學光盤二至三遍,請學生跟讀并模仿語音語調。2.請學生三人一組,分角色朗讀對話。3.請幾組學生到臺前表演對話,要求學生要根據對話內容加上適當的表情和動作。(三)鞏固練習1.完成課本第3頁的Ask and answer.部分。(1)教師播放錄音,學生模仿跟讀,并教學詞組went/go back。(2)請學生兩人一組進行對話練習。(3)請個別學生進行對話展示,教師或同伴糾正語音語調。2.學說課本第7頁的韻律詩:Sightseeing。(1)請學生讀一讀韻律詩的內容,先個別后全體。(2)教師播放錄音,學生模仿跟讀。(3)請學生模仿課本韻律詩自編一首,如:I visited the Great Wall.A long,long wall.I visited Big Ben.A big,big clock.I took many photos.Many beautiful photos.3.完成課本第6頁的Learn to write.部分。(1)學生獨立完成練習,將答案寫在課本上。(2)學生兩人一組交換課本,互相訂正。(四)語音教學1.教師出示五個元音字母的卡片,請學生讀一讀,并將五張卡片貼在黑板上。2.請學生回憶一下,五個元音字母在單詞中發(fā)什么音,最后總結出:元音字母在開音節(jié)中發(fā)其各自的字母音。3.復習開音節(jié)的兩種構成形式。4.請學生上臺,在元音字母卡片下寫出相應的單詞,并讀一讀。5.請學生看課本第3頁的Listen and learn the English sounds.部分,先自讀一遍,然后教師播放錄音,學生模仿跟讀。最后再請幾位學生示范朗讀。Step 4 Extension綜合活動:小調查。1.在學生間展開小調查活動,詢問并記錄某一位同學外出旅游的活動,將調查結果記錄在下表中。Question Name Did you go anywhere in winter ( summer ) ?Where is it?Who did you go with?How did you go there?How was the weather there?What did you do there?2.請部分學生向全班說一說自己的調查結果,如: went to Hainan with his parents in winter. Did you go to Harbin? Can you tell me something about Harbin?”請學生根據自己的旅游經歷或已有的知識,談一談哈爾濱這個城市(可以用中文說)。如:“哈爾濱是黑龍江的省會城市”“哈爾濱是一座冰城”“哈爾濱的冰雕最著名”等。2.教師提出下列問題,然后播放課文錄音或多媒體教學光盤,請學生帶著問題學習課文內容。What did Sally see in Harbin?What did Sally do in Harbin?(二)課文教學1.根據第一個問題,學習第一段課文。(1)由第一個問題,板書詞組see the Ice and Snow Festival并教學。(2)請學生讀第一段對話,鞏固There was和There were的用法,如:There was a birthday party last night.I went to the park yesterday. There were many children there.2.根據第二個問題,學習第二段課文。(1)教學make的過去式made。(2)教學詞組made a snowman和句子Ben and I made a snowman.并在黑板上Sally的頭像下面畫上或貼上一個雪人。(3)告訴學生,人稱代詞I在與其他人或其他人稱代詞連用時一定要放在后面,不可居首,如:“Ben and I”“You and I”“He and I”“You,he and I”等。(4)游戲唱反調。游戲規(guī)則:教師出示圖片,學生分組說詞組,如:第一組和第二組說:第三組和第四組說:游戲規(guī)則:教師出示圖片,學生分組說詞組,如: 第一組和第二組說: 第一組和第二組說: make dumplings made dumplings make New Years cards made New Years cards make paper flowers made paper flowers make my bed made my bed . .也可以是老師與個別學生說,還可以是學生A與學生B說。(5)教學句子I took a photo of it on my mobile.幫助學生理解句中的it指的是snowman。(6)學習句子:Show me the photo,please.先教學單詞show,然后教學該句子。教師告訴學生,這句話是表示請求,類似這種表示請求、命令、禁止、警戒的句子英語中稱之為祈使句。如:Lets go to school. Stand up,please. Look at the man.等。3.學習最后一段課文。(1)教師說:“How do Wang Tao and Julia describe the snowman? Please read the third paragraph of the text.”(2)學生自讀課文第三段,然后回答問題。教師在黑板上雪人圖片的旁邊板書:short and fat,a big red nose,a lovely snowman,然后進行教學。(3)復習有關形容詞的單詞,并教學單詞thin。教師出示卡片fat,short和big,請學生邊讀邊做相應的動作,然后教學這三個單詞的反義詞thin,long,tall和small,并請學生用這些形容詞來描述一下班級里的人或物,如: is tall.s hair is long. is thin.教師再出示lovely,beautiful,interesting,clever等單詞卡片,采用相同的方法進行復習鞏固活動。(三)熟讀課文并嘗試用第三人稱敘述故事內容1.教師播放課文錄音或多媒體教學光盤二至三遍,學生模仿跟讀。2.請學生分角色朗讀對話。3.教師指著黑板上Sally頭像附近的文字示范敘述故事內容,如:Sally went to Harbin in winter. She went skating on the lake. She went to see the Ice and Snow Festival. There was a big ice city. There were many people. She had fun in the snow. She made a snowman with Ben. The snowman was short and fat. And it had a big red nose. Its a lovely snowman.4.給學生一些時間練習,然后請個別學生展示。(四)鞏固練習1.完成課本第5頁的Look and say.部分。(1)教師播放錄音,學生模仿跟讀。(2)學生同桌合作,一起讀一讀四幅圖下的內容,互相糾正語音語調。(3)請幾位學生示范朗讀。(4)教師再出示幾幅圖,請學生看圖描述,如: A BLook at the elephant. The big one. 2.完成課本第5頁的Read. I took many photos.2.請學生結合帶來的照片,用簡短的語句寫一寫自己的一次旅游經歷。3.每組選一位學生說一說自己的旅游經歷。Step 5 Homework1.聽課文錄音,并模仿跟讀。2.完成活動手冊中本課的練習。3.完成課本第8頁的自我評價。4.下節(jié)英語課,每位學生帶一點水果來。Unit 2 Helping Each Other文化和語言注釋1.本單元的話題是學校生活,通過學生互助的情景,復習主要的學習科目英語單詞。主要功能是人際交往,學習表示悲傷或遺憾的句子Im sorry to hear that.等。語法方面復習代詞所有格his,my,your等,復習情態(tài)動詞can以及以Dont 開頭的祈使句。語音學習內容為元音字母a,e,i,o,u在閉音節(jié)中的讀音規(guī)則總復習。2.Wang Tao didnt come to school today.(王濤今天沒來上學。)由于薩莉、馬麗和楊明三人談話的地點是在學校,因此用 Wang Tao didnt come to school today.而不說Wang Tao didnt go to school today.3. He broke his leg.(他腿摔壞了。)broke是break的過去式,break 的意思是“打破,折斷,使碎裂,弄壞,砸破”,本課指王濤的腿骨折了。Some boys played football in the classroom and broke the window.(一些男孩在教室里踢足球,打破了窗戶。)Be careful! Dont break the glass.(小心!別打破了玻璃杯。)4. Hes in hospital now.(他現在住院了。)(1)be in hospital是“住院”的意思,在hospital 前面不使用冠詞。(2)如果要表達某人在醫(yī)院工作則要使用冠詞,如:Betty works in a hospital.(貝蒂在醫(yī)院工作)。(3)而“同學們在醫(yī)院看望王濤,正在和他交談。”要說成:The classmates are in the hospital now. They are talking with Wang Tao.5. Im sorry to hear that.(聽到這消息我很難過。)(1)在前幾冊學過sorry表示歉意的用法,如:Im sorry. Im late.(對不起,我遲到了。)(2)在Im sorry to hear that.的句子中,sorry 的意思是“感到悲傷或遺憾”。用于聽到別人說不好的事情時的反應,表示同情。如聽到別人說:“My grandma is ill.”(我奶奶生病了。)我們就應該說:“Im sorry to hear that.” 在教材的第10頁圖2也有個例子,聽到A說:“Yang Ming is sad.He didnt do well in high jump.”(楊明很傷心,他跳高跳得不好。)B 就應該說:“Im sorry to hear that.”(聽到這消息我很難過。)6. We can take some fruits with us.(我們可以帶一些水果去。)(1)注意復習take 和 bring的不同意思和用法,本套教材六年級上冊第3單元第17頁的Look and say.欄目有專項訓練可以參考。(2)注意復習take with me/us的用法,本套教材五年級下冊第4單元第2324頁有很多該句型句子可以用來復習。如:Im going to take a camera with me.(我想帶個相機去。)7.本單元語音部分復習元音字母a,e,i,o,u在閉音節(jié)中的發(fā)音。aeiou ei fatredfilmstopbusmaphelpshiphotmust8.Hi,Wang Tao. How are you today? (你好,王濤。今天身體好嗎?)I feel better.(我覺得好一點了。)(1)feel是“感覺到”的意思,過去式是felt。I feel cold.(我覺得冷。)He felt very happy at his birthday party.(在他的生日聚會上他感到非常高興。)(2)better是well(身體好)的比較級,意思是“身體更好了”。9. Im worried about my lessons.(我擔心我的功課。)be worried about是“對感到擔憂”的意思,worried是過去分詞作形容詞,在句子中當表語,體現主語的心理特征。10. Dont worry.(不要擔心。)這里worry 是動詞。如:Dont worry about your dog. It will come back.(不要擔心你的狗,它會回來的。)Now we dont worry about our food.(現在我們不必為食物擔憂。)11. I can help you with your Chinese.(我能幫助你學語文。)(1)help somebody with something是固定表達法,with是介詞,后接名詞或動名詞,如:I often help my mother with her housework.(我常幫助我母親做家務。)(2)help somebody do something也可以表達相同的意思,但是在賓語somebody后要接原形動詞,如:I often help my mother do some housework.(我常幫助我母親做些家務。)12. I hope I can go back to school soon.(我希望我不久就能返回學校。)上述句子中hope接的是一個賓語從句I can go back to school soon。又如:I hope we can get to the train station by bus.(我希望我們能乘坐公交車到達火車站。)I hope you are well.(我希望你身體健康。)13. You will.(你會的。)這是個省略句,完整的句子是:You will go back to school soon.(你不久就能返回學校。)14.本單元的C部分要求學生談一談可以做哪些事來幫助周圍的人們。(1)On the bus I can give my seat to old people.(在公交車上我可以給老年人讓座。)(2)I can help old people carry bags.(我可以幫老人拎袋子。)這個句子用的是help somebody do something 的句型結構。15.課本第14頁的韻律詩及其譯文如下:Dont WorryDont worry, please.I can help youWith your Chinese.Follow me, follow me.It is as easyAs you can see.別擔心請不要擔心,我能幫助你學語文。跟我學,跟我學。你瞧,很容易,很容易。Part A教學目標 語言知識目標1.學習單詞:break(broke),hear,lesson,heavy,light,carry等。2.學習句型:He broke his leg.
