Lesson 18 An Animal Story
◆ 教材分析
本課是北師大版《初中英語(yǔ)》七年級(jí)下冊(cè)教材第6單元第18課,話題為動(dòng)物。第三單元的前兩課學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容包括如何介紹我最喜歡的動(dòng)物和如何描述有趣的動(dòng)物。本課學(xué)習(xí)一篇有關(guān)人和動(dòng)物的感人故事,為最終進(jìn)行本單元的綜合語(yǔ)言輸出奠定必要的語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)。
本節(jié)課的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)分為兩個(gè)課時(shí)。第一課時(shí)側(cè)重對(duì)閱讀文章的理解,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過(guò)閱讀提取有關(guān)John、Anthony和獅子Christian之間感人故事的具體事實(shí)。在閱讀活動(dòng)中,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生提取故事發(fā)展的主線信息和細(xì)節(jié)信息,在讀前、讀中理解
2、與話題相關(guān)的詞匯,在語(yǔ)篇中關(guān)注方式副詞的表意功能,最后結(jié)合課文信息和語(yǔ)言信息進(jìn)行輸出性活動(dòng)。
第二課時(shí)在復(fù)習(xí)有關(guān)獅子的感人故事和鞏固相關(guān)語(yǔ)言的基礎(chǔ)上,引入本課的語(yǔ)法功能——方式副詞,學(xué)習(xí)其基本結(jié)構(gòu)和語(yǔ)用功能。在語(yǔ)境中進(jìn)行多層面的練習(xí),最后運(yùn)用方式副詞寫一篇有關(guān)動(dòng)物的小故事。

Step 1. Warm-up
T shows the four photos of the animals to ask Ss to name the animals and tell where they are from. T
