教案
1教學目標:
1.熟練掌握本課核心單詞與、詞匯,并能靈活運用所學句式。
需要掌握的單詞:
east, west, north, south, where , country, America, cousin, maybe, Los Angeles, New York
需要掌握的句子:"He lives in the east of America." "Los Angeles is in the west of America." "This country is American.
2、" "Does he live in Los Angeles, New York?" "I want to go to American one day." "Maybe you can visit your cousin."
2.學生能夠運用"… is in the…of…" "He(She) lives in the… of…" 等句型描述某一地點或某人居住的具體位置。
3.簡單了解美國各大主要城市在國家領土內的地理位置。培養(yǎng)學生熱愛祖國,熱愛家鄉(xiāng)的思想感情,并初步建立與其他英美國家建立良好邦交關系,待人友善的意識。
2教學重點及難點:
1.教學重點是需要重點掌握表示方位的單詞
3、和句子。
2.教學難點是Los Angeles, country, lives in的記憶以及He lives in the east of America.的發(fā)音?!?
3課前準備:
錄音機,美國地圖,地球儀,指南針,部分美國的照片。

Step 1 熱身與復習(Warm up and preview)
Brain storm(頭腦風暴):Which country do you know?
(引出新詞country)
Step 2 展示新課(Presentation)
4、T: My name’s… I live in … Where do you live?
引出句式He lives in… T: Where is …? Ss: It’s in the US
(T出示美國地圖)
T: What do you know about America?(老師拿出美國地圖向學生展示)
Ss:迪士尼、洛杉磯、紐約… … .
(利用黑板上畫的美國地圖向學生發(fā)問:Where is Los Angeles? Where is New York?并滲透It’s in the…of America.句型。本環(huán)節(jié)利用學生對美國的了解和感官來滲透新的知識點,為后面方位詞的學

T: Maybe I want to go to America one day, because my cousin Simon lives there, which city does he live? I will give you a hint, you can guess. (T出示Disney land,Hollywood和Big Bear Lake的圖片)
Ss: Los Angeles
T: Where does my cousin live?
Ss: He lives in Los Angeles.
T: So he lives in the

Step 3 練習(Practice)
T: I have got another map. Look, is it in America?
Ss: No, it’s in China. (T出示中國地圖)
T Points to some places and ask: where is …? (板書)
Ss: It’s in the…of China. (板書)
T: Work in groups, ask and answer: Where is…? It’s in the...of China.
Step 4 小結(Summary)
讓學生總結本課學習的單詞和句子。
讓學生一起朗讀本科所學的核心句子。
Step 5 家庭作業(yè)(Homework)
1.聽錄音并重復朗讀三遍。Listen to the tape, and listen and repeat 3 times.
2. 將本課的單詞抄寫兩遍。Copy the main word and sentences 2 times, then try to remember them.
3. 用本課所學知識介紹你最好的朋友。
