一、教材分析
本課是Unit 9 Let's Go Further的一個(gè)植樹(shù)的故事,內(nèi)容是關(guān)于為什么種樹(shù)、如何種樹(shù)。課文篇幅長(zhǎng),生詞多,容量大,因此我把該課設(shè)計(jì)為閱讀課教學(xué)。課文中動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)很多,但是讀起來(lái)朗朗上口,適合聽(tīng)讀訓(xùn)練。而本課主題Arbor Day與環(huán)保密切相關(guān),也和同學(xué)們的生活聯(lián)系密切,很容易引起學(xué)生的興趣。
二、教學(xué)對(duì)象分析
學(xué)生之前學(xué)過(guò)Plants相關(guān)的知識(shí),了解植物對(duì)人類的重大意義,也熟悉種樹(shù)的步驟,甚至許多學(xué)生都親自體驗(yàn)過(guò)植樹(shù),所以在理解教學(xué)內(nèi)容方面困難不大。對(duì)于生詞,老師
2、用以舊引新的方法,由學(xué)生自己領(lǐng)悟其發(fā)音規(guī)則,可增強(qiáng)他們的自信心與成就感,從而激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)熱情。教師通過(guò)game, task,TPR ,chant, song,team work等方式,吸引學(xué)生的注意,啟發(fā)思維,從而達(dá)到輕松學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言,運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的目的。
三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1.語(yǔ)言知識(shí)技能 :理解和運(yùn)用以下短語(yǔ)和句型

(2) 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛(ài)勞動(dòng)的良好習(xí)慣,勤學(xué)多思,樹(shù)立遠(yuǎn)大理想。

五、教學(xué)策略
通過(guò)song, chant, games, TPR等多種教學(xué)手法和多媒體課件的有效展示,尤其是大量肢體語(yǔ)言的運(yùn)用,以及小組合作學(xué)習(xí)的形式,給學(xué)生大量的語(yǔ)言輸入,把舊知識(shí)與新知識(shí)有效地結(jié)合,讓學(xué)生通過(guò)大量的語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐熟練掌握和運(yùn)用新知識(shí)。把聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)相結(jié)合,提高語(yǔ)言技能。
六、教學(xué)媒體
圖片,貼紙,自制課件,磁帶,Kingsun光盤(pán),實(shí)物,多媒體教學(xué)平臺(tái)等。

(2) Talk about seasons, special dates and festivals. There are two festivals in the last week of December this year---Christmas Day in Western countries and Arbor Day in Syria (Show the map).

3. Presentation (1)
(1) Go into the topic. Today we’re going to read a story on Arbor Day.
Then look at a picture puzzle to guess: Who are in the story?

Why do we plant trees?
(1) Watch the cartoon to find out at least three reasons for why we plant trees.
