Warm up Sing a song “There Are Seven Days” How are you? What day is today? What’s the weather like today? What’s your favorite month? When is Spring Festival? … Step2.Review 復(fù)習(xí)十二個月份的英文單詞。 1. 以同樣的方式復(fù)習(xí)一周七天的英文表達(dá)法。 2. 復(fù)習(xí)一些主要的節(jié)日名稱: January New Year’s Day September Teachers’ Day November Thanksgiving Step3. Presentation: 1. Thanksgiving-----When is Thanksgiving? It’s on the 4th Thursday of November. 2. Corn, turkey, yam, pumpkin pie--------What do they usually have for thanksgiving? Let’s have a look. (把句子貼到黑板上,然后走到餐桌邊,端起火雞教學(xué)turkey,介紹火雞與土耳其) T: Mm. Turkey. It smells delicious. T: (拿起單詞卡片,幫助學(xué)生找發(fā)音規(guī)律,學(xué)會自讀單詞) T-U-R, tur, K-E-Y, key.(升降調(diào)操練單詞) T: Look at the screen. What’s difference between the two words? T: This word begins with small letter “t”, it means “火雞” T: This one begins with big letter “T”, it means “土耳其” (引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說出火雞和土耳其) T: Do you know why? 原來英國人到美洲去,看到火雞很像土耳其人的服裝,頭紅身黑,所以把火雞叫turkey,就像China一樣,有兩個意思,大寫代表我們的祖國——中國,小寫代表瓷器。 T: It’s interesting. Step 4 Have a big dinner 1.邀請學(xué)生到餐桌用餐,講解西方用餐禮儀 (邀請問題回答較好的學(xué)生坐到餐桌旁邊就餐) T: 瞧,他們的姿勢符合西方用餐禮儀嗎?說說看。 T: 西方人是非常講究他們的行為習(xí)慣的,兩腿不能交叉,還要從椅子的左邊入坐,不能穿休閑服入席。對了,按時很重要哦。 T: Now, let’s enjoy our food.
