111 UNIT3 The computer Section 1 BRIEF STATEMENTS BASED ON SECTION 1 This prat will lead in the topic in this Unit THE COMPRUER by introducing some related information.After the teacher has a brief introduction about the computer,he/she may ask several Ss to give an introduction and then talk about them,this is a good chance to let them express themselves before the classmates as well as a test of their English.At the same time,they may be eager to communicate with their classmates about the topic.This will accelerate their knowledge of the new topic,and arouse their interst in learning the text.Vocabulary and speaking are very important in English learning.The teacher should teach more knowledge about the two aspects to Ss.The teacher should let them know the coming period is colorful,full of imagination and creation,thus an important part in one's life. Besides,this part we will also vocabulary.Pronunciation is important for English learners,so the teacher should tell Ss to pay attention to word pronuncition,especially to the stress.Next is about the usages about words and expressions. THE GENERAL IDEA OF THIS PERIOD This is the third unit of the book.Also it's important for a new high school student.High school period is a time of discovery ,learning and hard work.Showing the importance of learning the computer can arouse their interest and can expand their knowledge.
