Learning about language
Discovering useful words and expressions
第一步:Activity 1,學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)左邊十個(gè)單詞,然后自行完成練習(xí),全班一起核對(duì)答案;
第二步:Activity 2;
第三步:Activity 3,先復(fù)習(xí)課文出現(xiàn)的重點(diǎn)單詞,學(xué)生自行完成,并可將其中的句子作為例句來學(xué)習(xí);

2、四步:Activity 4,先復(fù)習(xí)英式英文和美式英文的差別,包括詞匯上(film—movie, autumn—fall,
rubber—eraser, ),語(yǔ)音上(hot, not, dance, answer)和用法上(I've go—I
have)的區(qū)別,引出部分介詞的用法也有不同,例如a quarter past five—a quarter after
five,然后讓學(xué)生完成,最后給出正確答案;
第五步:Activity
3、 5,先播放錄音讓學(xué)生聽明白三組對(duì)話的意思,然后按照題目要求把三組對(duì)話的重點(diǎn)詞找出來,通過這三組對(duì)話讓學(xué)生更加深刻感受到英式英語(yǔ)和美式英語(yǔ)在詞匯上的差異:

第一步: 先讓學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)并熟悉本單元的詞匯,然后再做習(xí)題一并核對(duì)答案。
第二步:先和學(xué)生一起復(fù)習(xí)練習(xí)二提供的單詞和短語(yǔ)的用法,然后完成練習(xí)。讓學(xué)生在句子中體會(huì)并熟悉這些單詞和短語(yǔ)的用法。

第一步:復(fù)習(xí)第一單元學(xué)習(xí)過的陳述句和疑問句直接引語(yǔ)的部分重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容;
1. 直接引語(yǔ)是陳述句
如果引用
5、的句子原來是一個(gè)陳述句,變?yōu)殚g接引語(yǔ)時(shí),在引語(yǔ)的開頭用連詞 that 來引導(dǎo) ( 在口語(yǔ)中 that 常省去 )
,要注意從句中人稱、時(shí)態(tài)、代詞、狀語(yǔ)等相應(yīng)變化。如:
“You are really my best friend,”Tom said to me.
→ Tom said that I was really his best friend.
“I will come here again tomorrow,”he said.

→ He said he would go there again the nest day.
He said : “the best seed - heads should be hung up to dry.”
→ He said that the best seed-heads should be hung up to dry.
2. 直接引語(yǔ)是疑問句
①如果引用的句子原來是一個(gè)一般疑問句,變成
7、間接引語(yǔ)時(shí),須用從屬連詞 if 或 whether 來引導(dǎo) ( 不再用 that
作連詞 ) 。
②直接引語(yǔ)如果是特殊疑問句,變成間接引語(yǔ)時(shí),原疑問句中的疑問詞 who, whose, what, which,
where, why, how 等就成了引導(dǎo)間接引語(yǔ)的連詞。
③原直接引語(yǔ)中的疑問語(yǔ)在間接引語(yǔ)中變?yōu)殛愂稣Z(yǔ)序。
④直接引語(yǔ)中的問號(hào)變成了句號(hào)。
⑤人
8、稱、時(shí)態(tài)、狀語(yǔ)等也相應(yīng)變化。如:
He asked,“Is it raining now? ”
→ He asked whether / if it was raining then.
The man asked me,“How old are you?”
→ The man asked me how old I was.
They asked him,“When do you harvest the

→ They asked him when he harvested the wheat.
I asked the man,“Who are you?”
→ I asked the man who he was.
The teacher asked her,“Why did you come?”
→ The teacher wondered why she had come.
10、 第二步:解釋 command 和 request 兩種句式及這兩個(gè)詞語(yǔ)的用法( give commands, make a
request/ request that somebody should do),并讓學(xué)生分辨這兩種句子;
第三步:Activity
1,學(xué)生閱讀句子,學(xué)習(xí)如何將表示命令和請(qǐng)求的句子變成間接引語(yǔ)。然后讓學(xué)生說出更多表示命令和請(qǐng)求的句子,并將它們變成間接引語(yǔ);
第四步:Activity
11、2, 學(xué)生比較表示命令和請(qǐng)求的句子在表達(dá)上有什么特點(diǎn)(commands are less
polite while requests are polite),然后讓學(xué)生說出什么人經(jīng)常下命令(例如上級(jí),長(zhǎng)輩,
老師等),什么人經(jīng)常發(fā)出請(qǐng)求(下級(jí),晚輩,學(xué)生等);最后是兩人活動(dòng),一個(gè)學(xué)生給命令或發(fā)出請(qǐng)求,另一學(xué)生將它們變成間接引語(yǔ);
第五步:補(bǔ)充語(yǔ)法知識(shí):如何將祈使句變?yōu)殚g接引語(yǔ);
轉(zhuǎn)述祈使句的時(shí)候, 要將祈使句的動(dòng)詞原形變?yōu)閯?dòng)詞不定式并在動(dòng)詞
12、不定式前根據(jù)句子的意思用 tell ( 命令 ) ,ask (
請(qǐng)求 ) , order ( 命令 ) 等及物動(dòng)詞加賓語(yǔ)。如果祈使句為否定式,則在不定式前面加 not 。例如:
He said to the girl,“Do it at once.”
→ He ordered the girl to do it at once.
“Be quiet!”I told the children.
→ I
13、 told the children to be quiet.
He said to farmers,“Do things at the right time of the year.”
→ He told farmers to do things at the right time of the year.
“Don't grow plants in the same place year after year.”the
farmer

→The farmer told me not to grow plants in the same place year
after year.
He said,“Don't talk!”
→ He told us not to talk.
注意:有些句子雖以疑問形式出現(xiàn),但并非提出詢問,而是表示請(qǐng)求、建議、勸告等意思。這種問句通常也采取 ask , advise
15、 + 賓語(yǔ) + 不定式結(jié)構(gòu)來轉(zhuǎn)為間接引語(yǔ)。如:
“Could you lend me a bike?”he said.
→ He asked me to lend him my bike.
“Would you mind waiting a moment?”
→ He asked me to wait a moment.
“Why don't you go there by pla
16、ne?”
→ He advised me to go there by plane.
What about having a walk?
→ He suggested having a walk.
第六步:Activity 3,先讓學(xué)生閱讀三個(gè)給出的情景,然后進(jìn)行兩人活動(dòng),根據(jù)所給情景編寫小對(duì)話,最后在課堂上表演對(duì)話。

17、 第一步:分組活動(dòng):按照練習(xí)要求分成三個(gè)同學(xué)一組進(jìn)行此項(xiàng)活動(dòng);
第二步:適當(dāng)抽幾組同學(xué)將他們的活動(dòng)結(jié)果演示出來,不當(dāng)?shù)牡胤竭M(jìn)行及時(shí)的糾正;
第三步:讓學(xué)生獨(dú)自完成練習(xí)二,核對(duì)答案;
第四步:復(fù)習(xí)總結(jié)本單元的語(yǔ)法項(xiàng)目,并強(qiáng)調(diào)相關(guān)注意事項(xiàng).
Workbook (P 48,Talking)
第一步:和學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)方框里面的習(xí)慣表達(dá);
第二步:和學(xué)生一起閱讀所給的情景,讓學(xué)生自由選擇情景進(jìn)行對(duì)話練習(xí);
第三步:學(xué)生編寫對(duì)話;
第四步:學(xué)生表演對(duì)話。
