、. But are they kidding themselves to think a walk is really helping them?Should we all be running or jogging if we want to count that activity as good for us?Dr.Tim Church, who studies the effects of physical activity at Louisiana State University’s Pennington Biomedical Research Center, made a study

、 about that. Church headed a study with 464 postmenopausal(絕經(jīng)后的) women who,for six months, came into the lab to walk a treadmill(跑步機(jī)) while researchers watched. 由第二段開頭的“But are they kidding themselves...as good for us?” 由第四段末的“These women walked slowly, and could easily carry on a conversation.” 由第五段中的“their pants fit differently. It’s because they have less belly fat...”

be eager to do sth.“渴望做某事”。

6.A 由“offer quick advice”可知,應(yīng)選fix,表示“解決”。

根據(jù)本句中的“The back door and the windows were all locked”可知,沒有破門而入的跡象。故填no。 3.found 考查時(shí)態(tài)。

4.would happen 考查時(shí)態(tài)。 癷t is/was+時(shí)間點(diǎn)+when...” wire

9.over/on 考查介詞。 pour sth.over/on sth.“把…… Ⅳ. I will share a story with you that happened a couple of days ago.One of my bought a bag of snacks from a food store.A few roommates were then invited to

、enjoy snacks. ,all of them got poisoned and had stomachaches with faces pale. They quickly sent to a nearby hospital.Doctors examined them gave them some medicine. They were out of danger soon taking the medicine. This accident should make us to realize the seriousness of the food safety problem.I suggest that the whole society pay more attention to food safety.
