1、教學(xué)內(nèi)容Unit 8 Is there a post office near here?Section B 1a-1dI、Analysis of the teaching material and students. The thought of teaching design. (教材分析、學(xué)生分析及設(shè)計(jì)思路)本單元教學(xué)內(nèi)容選自人教版七年級(jí)英語(yǔ)下冊(cè)第八單元,本節(jié)課為本單元的第四 課時(shí)。此單元的主要教學(xué)目標(biāo)是學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)如何向別人問(wèn)路及如何給別人指路,談 論的內(nèi)容主要集中在地點(diǎn)名詞、方位介詞、指示方向的動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)等,語(yǔ)言知識(shí)結(jié) 構(gòu)有“There be”結(jié)構(gòu),“Where questions”和“Pr
2、epositions of places”。通過(guò)這些 語(yǔ)言知識(shí)學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能夠在街道上用英語(yǔ)詢問(wèn)地點(diǎn),描述位置,指明方向。而這 些內(nèi)容又和學(xué)生的日常生活息息相關(guān),具有很大的實(shí)用價(jià)值,是個(gè)讓學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ) 學(xué)習(xí)產(chǎn)生興趣的好機(jī)會(huì),教師應(yīng)借此節(jié)課既讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言,提高語(yǔ)言技能, 再適當(dāng)引入一些文化滲透和情感交流,比如引入外國(guó)諺語(yǔ): “ All roads lead to Rome(條條道路通羅馬) ”,讓學(xué)生欣賞歌曲“Country roads, take me home(鄉(xiāng)村小路, 帶我回家)”,使學(xué)生具有跨文化交流意識(shí)。本節(jié)課設(shè)計(jì)的寫(xiě)作任務(wù),是讓學(xué)生談?wù)?自己的家庭或?qū)W校周?chē)惺裁唇ㄖ叭绾蔚竭_(dá)此
3、地。話題學(xué)生非常熟悉,可通過(guò) 前幾節(jié)課的聽(tīng)說(shuō)課、閱讀課構(gòu)建知識(shí)框架,讓學(xué)生由淺入深進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí),增加學(xué)生 寫(xiě)作的自信心。本節(jié)課在備課時(shí),可以發(fā)現(xiàn)書(shū)上出現(xiàn)的交通標(biāo)志偏少,不能滿足 學(xué)生指明方位的需要,因此老師要借助多媒體或手工制作的更多的交通指示標(biāo)志來(lái)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)說(shuō)出更多的指路信息,比如拓展詞匯“traffic lights, go past,go/walk across, cross ,at the first/second crossing, on the left/right ”等,這樣學(xué)生才能 用英語(yǔ)靈活、準(zhǔn)確的給別人指明方向,因此本節(jié)課詞匯教學(xué)比重稍有點(diǎn)大。因?yàn)?面臨的是七年級(jí)學(xué)生,他們
4、在課堂上還是善于表現(xiàn)自我,也喜歡通過(guò)各種活動(dòng)進(jìn) 行感性學(xué)習(xí),因此本節(jié)課可借助大量圖示來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)地點(diǎn)名詞,方位介詞,交通標(biāo)識(shí) 等,因?yàn)檫@些內(nèi)容都非常具體化,而且通過(guò)圖示有助于學(xué)生識(shí)記單詞。除了英語(yǔ) 語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)外,本節(jié)課我們還可以啟示學(xué)生,誰(shuí)都有可能在路上遇到困難, 比如迷路,認(rèn)不清方向等,碰到他人需要幫助時(shí),我們要樂(lè)于助人。最后,雖然 條條道路通羅馬,但我們最好找出最便捷的路來(lái)幫助他人。1II. We also have a Chinese idiom( 成語(yǔ)) called “殊途同歸”, it has the same meaning as this English proverb. So there re some differences and similarities in our Chinese and English
19、culture.Step2. Appreciation of an English song.T: When we go to some place , we sometimes can choose our favorite ways or roads. But my favorite road is the country road. Now, let s look at my favorite road. Play the song and appreciate the English song“Country road, take me home”.Step3. Remind stud

22、 (1a-1d)Key phrases:go along, turn left, turn right, on the left/right, on ones left/ right, crossing,go/walk across, at the first/second crossing , traffic lights, go past4VIII、Teaching reflection(教學(xué)反思):本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)是如何問(wèn)路,如何給別人指路,其中給別人指路對(duì)學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)是 難點(diǎn)。要突破難點(diǎn),本人覺(jué)得還要從簡(jiǎn)明扼要和形象生動(dòng)的簡(jiǎn)單語(yǔ)言知識(shí)入手, 特別是對(duì)于詞匯量較少的七年級(jí)的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)。本課在問(wèn)路和
23、指路的學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中,要談?wù)摯罅康牡攸c(diǎn)名詞、方位介詞、方向 指示詞等,因此語(yǔ)言知識(shí)點(diǎn)集中在如何詢問(wèn)地點(diǎn),如何描述位置,如何指明方向 這三部分上,而這些內(nèi)容中地點(diǎn)名詞相對(duì)簡(jiǎn)單點(diǎn),但方向指示詞課本上提供的內(nèi) 容太少,不能滿足真實(shí)場(chǎng)景對(duì)話需要,因此本人在教學(xué)過(guò)程中補(bǔ)充了一部分有關(guān) 指示方向的詞匯,并用許多具體的圖片來(lái)進(jìn)行形象教學(xué),樣有助于學(xué)生記憶和理 解。除了英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的學(xué)習(xí),本節(jié)課我還滲透思想教育,比如誰(shuí)都可能在路上 遇到困難,碰到他人需要幫助時(shí),我們要樂(lè)于助人。另外,雖然條條道路通羅馬, 但指出最便捷的路來(lái)幫助他人就是最好的路。課本是我們教學(xué)的依據(jù),但不是我們教學(xué)的全部,我們要以課本為依據(jù),靈 活
24、處理教材。如在設(shè)計(jì)本課時(shí),我發(fā)現(xiàn)本節(jié)課書(shū)本上的交通標(biāo)志偏少,不能滿足 學(xué)生給別人指路時(shí)所需的一些信息內(nèi)容,因此備課時(shí)又增加了幾個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的交通標(biāo) 識(shí) 和 相 關(guān) 詞 匯 等 , 如 : zebra crossing, on ones left/right, at the first/second/third.crossing, traffic lights,go past 等。另外,為了更進(jìn)一步的練習(xí)指 路,我準(zhǔn)備一些生動(dòng)的圖片及精美的PPT課件,讓學(xué)生在課堂上以小組形式討論如 何幫助旅游者找賓館等活動(dòng),激發(fā)他們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣并鞏固所學(xué)知識(shí)。最后,在學(xué)完知識(shí)要點(diǎn)后,適時(shí)加入英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)和英語(yǔ)歌曲,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的跨文 化交流意識(shí),開(kāi)闊他們的眼界,培養(yǎng)他們的思辨能力,使學(xué)生得到全面發(fā)展。本節(jié)課我主要采用多媒體授課,課件教學(xué),內(nèi)容不在多,而在精。每一張幻 燈片本人都精心制作,反復(fù)斟酌、修改,力求做到簡(jiǎn)明扼要、形象生動(dòng)、精準(zhǔn)助 學(xué)。應(yīng)該說(shuō)每一頁(yè),每一環(huán)節(jié)都有它的內(nèi)在思路與用途。不求最好,只求更好。當(dāng)然,本節(jié)課也有遺憾的地方,由于拓展詞匯,并力求在使用中掌握新詞匯, 結(jié)果給學(xué)生留的對(duì)話和寫(xiě)作時(shí)間相對(duì)倉(cāng)促,沒(méi)有充分預(yù)習(xí)或?qū)W習(xí)能力較差的學(xué)生 就會(huì)感覺(jué)本節(jié)課節(jié)奏有點(diǎn)快,需要課下多鞏固,多復(fù)習(xí)。5
