2、:that在句中無詞匯意義,在從句中不能充當成分,在口語當中往往省略e.g.1)Ihear(that)youpassedtheexam.1/92)Hesaid(that)hisfatherwasasinger.3)Theteachertoldus(that)thesunrisesintheeast.2.由從屬連詞whether,if引導的賓語從句(重點掌握)if/whether“是否”,說明對陳述的事物不明確或不清楚。常用在ask,wonder,can(could)youtellme等后。1).Iwanttoknowwhether/ifheisright.2).Iaskhimwhether/i
3、fhelikesme_.3只能用whether不能用if的情況1)在介詞后面:Imthinkingofwhetherweshouldgofishing.Weareworriedaboutwhetheritwillraintomorrow.2)在動詞不定式前:Theyaskedmewhethertogoskating.3)當與ornot連用,或提出兩種選擇時:Idontknowwhetherhesfreeornot.Tellmewhetheryoudliketogoshoppingortidytheroom.4)賓語從句提前時:Whetherthisistrueornot,Icantsay.4.

5、dmeet?語序:陳述句語序即:主句+連接詞+從句(主+謂+其他成分)Doyouremember(他多大歲數(shù))?2/9當從句的原句為以下句子以及what,who作主語時,語序不變:Whatswrong?/Whatsthematter?/Whatshappening?/Whathappened?e.g.:Idontknowwhatthematteris.Canyoutellmewhoisoverthere?時態(tài):主句用一般現(xiàn)在時,現(xiàn)在進行時或一般將來時等“現(xiàn)在”范疇的時態(tài)時,從句的時態(tài)根據(jù)需要來用,不受主句影響。Iwanttoknowwhattimehegotupthismorning.Hewi
6、lltellusthathehasbeenabletolookafterhimself.Theyaresayingthattheyreallylikethiscity.主句用過去時,從句用與過去相關(guān)的時態(tài)。Katesaidtherewasaboxunderthedesk.Theyaskedwhathewasdoingthen.SheaskedwhetherIhadseenherbefore.從句說明的是一般真理、客觀事實、自然現(xiàn)象、名言時,仍用現(xiàn)在時。Dadtoldusthatitisbettertodothantosay.Hetoldtheboythatthreeandthreeissix.

9、ayevening.Ihearthey_(return)italready.Theteachertoldhisclassthatlight_fasterthansound(travel)Step6定語從句的講解:定語從句及相關(guān)術(shù)語定語從句:修飾一個名詞或代詞的從句稱為定語從句,一般緊跟在它所修飾的先行詞后面。關(guān)系詞:引導定語從句的關(guān)聯(lián)詞成為關(guān)系詞關(guān)系詞有關(guān)系代詞和關(guān)系副詞。關(guān)系代詞有that,which,who,whom,whose,as等;關(guān)系副詞有where,when,why等。關(guān)系詞常有3個作用:1),引導定語從句。2),代替先行詞。3),在定語從句中擔當一個成分。關(guān)系代詞引導的定語從句
10、who指人,在從句中做主語TheboyswhoareplayingfootballarefromClassOne.YesterdayIhelpedanoldmanwholosthisway.whom指人,在定語從句中充當賓語,??墒÷浴r.Liuistheperson(whom)youtalkedaboutonthebus.Mr.LingisjusttheboywhomIwanttosee.注意:關(guān)系代詞whom在口語和非正式語體中常用who代替,可省略。Themanwho/whomyoumetjustnowismyfriendwhich指物,在定語從句中做主語或者賓語,做賓語時可省略Foo

15、gcities.解答介詞+關(guān)系代詞類型的定語從句題時,關(guān)鍵在于分析定語從句中的謂語動詞(該動詞是不及物動詞)習慣上常與什么介詞搭配使用。這就需要同學們在平時學習時要注重某些不及物動詞和介詞慣用的情形,并要靈活運用。例如:Inthedarkstreet,therewasntasingleperson_shecouldturnforhelp.AthatBwhoCfromwhomDtowhom簡析:本題定語從句中的turn與介詞to構(gòu)成固定短語turntosbforhelp(向某人求助)。所以,D是正確選項。限制性定語從句和非限制性定語從句限制性定語從句舉例:Theteachertoldmethat
16、TomwastheonlypersonthatIcoulddependon.Chinaisacountrywhichhasalonghistory.5/9非限制性定語從句舉例:Hismother,wholoveshimverymuch,isstrictwithhim.China,whichwasfoundedin1949,isbecomingmoreandmorepowerful.要注意區(qū)分以下幾個句子的不同Hisbrotherwhoisnowadoctoralwaysencourageshimtogotocollege.他那當醫(yī)生的哥哥常鼓勵他要考上大學。(他還有其他的哥哥)Hisbroth
17、er,whoisnowadoctor,alwaysencourageshimtogotocollege.他的哥哥是當醫(yī)生的,常鼓勵他要考上大學。(他只有一個哥哥)難點分析限制性定語從句只能用that的幾種情況1.當先行詞是anything,everything,nothing(something除外),few,all,none,little,some等代詞時,或者是由every,any,all,some,no,little,few,much等修飾時HaveyoutakendowneverythingthatMr.Lihassaid?Thereseemstobenothingthatseemsi
18、mpossibleforhimintheworldAllthatcanbedonehasbeendone.ThereislittlethatIcandoforyou.注意:當先行詞指人時,偶爾也可以用whoAnymanthat/.whohasasenseofdutywontdosuchathing.2當先行詞被序數(shù)詞修飾ThefirstplacethattheyvisitedinLondonwastheBigBen.3.當先行詞被形容詞最高級修飾時ThisisthebestfilmthatIhaveseen.4.當形容詞被thevery,theonly修飾時Thisistheverydicti

20、thatwehavelearned?關(guān)系代詞as和which引導的定語從句1.as和which引導非限制性定語從句,有相同之處也有不同之處。具體情況是:As和which都可以在定語從句中做主語或者賓語,代表前面整個句子。Hemarriedher,as/whichwasnatural.Hewashonest,as/whichwecansee.2as引導非限制性定語從句,可放在主句之前,或者主句之后,甚至可以切割一個主句;which引導的非限制性定語從句只能放在主句之后。另外,as有“正如,正像”的意思Asisknowntoall,Chinaisadevelopingcountry.Heisfro
21、mthesouth,aswecanseefromhisaccent.John,asyouknow,isafamouswriter.HehasbeentoParismorethanseveraltimes,whichIdontbelieve.注意:當主句和從句存在邏輯上的因果關(guān)系時,常用whichTomwasalwayslateforschool,whichmadehisteacherangry.3當先行次受such,thesame修飾時,常用asIhaveneverheardsuchastoryashetells.Heisnotsuchafoolashelooks.Thisisthesameb
