1、Unit 5What were you doing when the rainstorm came?第一課時(shí)第一課時(shí)Section A (1a2d) What were you doing？是過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)的特殊疑問(wèn)句。過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)表示在過(guò)去某一時(shí)刻或某個(gè)時(shí)間段內(nèi)正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞由“was/were動(dòng)詞的現(xiàn)在分詞”構(gòu)成。eg：We were watching TV at 8：00 yesterday evening.昨晚8點(diǎn)鐘我們?cè)诳措娨暋o off的用法意為“發(fā)出響聲”。eg：The gun went off suddenly.槍突然走火了。意為“(燈)熄滅；停電”。eg：Lights

2、will go off if no one is in the room.如果房間里沒(méi)人，燈會(huì)熄滅。begin動(dòng)詞，意為“開(kāi)始”，其后既可接動(dòng)詞不定式，也可接動(dòng)詞ing形式，意為“開(kāi)始做某事”?！咀⒁狻慨?dāng)出現(xiàn)以下三種情況時(shí)必須使用動(dòng)詞不定式：當(dāng)主語(yǔ)為物時(shí)。當(dāng)begin后的動(dòng)詞是表示心理活動(dòng)的詞，如know，think，understand等時(shí)。當(dāng)begin在句中是“beginning”的形式時(shí)?！就卣埂縝egin with.以開(kāi)始；用開(kāi)頭suddenly副詞，意為“突然地”，其形容詞形式為sudden，意為“突然的”。strange形容詞，意為“奇特的；奇怪的”，其名詞形式為stranger，
