1、Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?第 一 課 時 Section A (1a2d) What were you doing？是過去進行時的特殊疑問句。過去進行時表示在過去某一時刻或某個時間段內(nèi)正在進行的動作，謂語動詞由“ was/were動詞的現(xiàn)在分詞”構(gòu)成。eg：We were watching TV at 8：00 yesterday evening.昨晚8點鐘我們在看電視。go off的 用 法意為“發(fā)出響聲”。eg：The gun went off suddenly.槍突然走火了。意為“ (燈)熄滅；停電”。eg：Li

2、ghts will go off if no one is in the room.如果房間里沒人，燈會熄滅。 begin動詞，意為“開始”，其后既可接動詞不定式，也可接動詞ing形式，意為“開始做某事”?！咀⒁狻慨敵霈F(xiàn)以下三種情況時必須使用動詞不定式：當主語為物時。當begin后的動詞是表示心理活動的詞，如know，think，understand等時。當begin在句中是“ beginning”的形式時?！就卣埂縝egin with.以 開始；用 開頭suddenly副詞，意為“突然地”，其形容詞形式為sudden，意為“突然的”。strange形容詞，意為“奇特的；奇怪的”，其名詞形式為
