Tell the adverbial clause of reason (as).T: We can find the adverbial clause of reason(as).As =Since 作"既然"、"由于"解,引導(dǎo)原因狀語(yǔ)從句,常用來(lái)表示已為人們所知或顯而易見(jiàn)的原因或理由。如: As hes been ill for ages, I will help him. As / Since you're not feeling well, you may stay at home. As he wasn't ready , we went without him.Since , for 與as的區(qū)別.1.since較as意味略強(qiáng)。它們都可以表示較明顯的或?qū)Ψ揭阎脑颉?煞謩e譯作“既然”和“由于”。since和as從句一般放在主句之前。例如: Since his method doesn't work, let's try yours.既然他的方法不行,我們就試試你的吧。 As I didn't know how to do it, I asked the teacher.由于我不知道怎樣做,就問(wèn)了老師。 2.for是并列連詞,位于兩句之中,連接并列的分句。當(dāng)for表示因果關(guān)系時(shí),可與because換用,但在for前面須用逗號(hào)。例如: You couldn't have seen him, because/for he wasn't there.你不可能見(jiàn)到他,因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)他不在那里。 for除此之外了表示因果關(guān)系外,還可以述說(shuō)對(duì)主句中的事實(shí)或看法的解釋。例如: It will rain, for it's getting dark, 要下雨了,因?yàn)樘鞖庠絹?lái)越暗了。3. 1) Ask one of pair to read the sentences.2) Answer the questions.Do some exercises to consolidate the using.在下列句子的空格中填入適當(dāng)?shù)倪B詞(每空一詞): 1. _ Jane was the eldest, she looked after the others. 2. _ you know it, I won't repeat it. 3.
