20、nty-one. Also, the second “t” in the word thirty often sounds like a “d”. 36、此普通美國人花錢很少大手大腳。這一點從美國人的購物習慣也能看出來。 平常,美國的大商場里總是冷冷清清,但打折的時候可就不一樣了。每年感恩節(jié)的第二天是美國最著名的商場打折日,許多商品都打5折。到那天,等了很久的美國人會傾巢而出,所有商場都是人頭攢動。有人為了搶到便宜貨,甚至早晨5點就起床出發(fā)了。我的一位美國朋友格林女士想買個數(shù)碼攝像機,但她還一直沒有采取行動。她說:“我就等著今年的感恩節(jié)呢!”美國人不僅熱中于在打折時購物,他們還酷愛優(yōu)惠券。購物用的優(yōu)惠券分兩種,一種是在商品原價基礎(chǔ)上便宜10%20%,任何時候都可以用。另一種是可以直接代替美元使用的優(yōu)惠券,上面標著10美元、20美元不等,只要你購

The tourist looks round for a little longer and sees a third monkey in a cage on its own. The price
