24、through alleys.5使用分詞短語分詞短語可以使句子緊湊,也是達(dá)到句子結(jié)構(gòu)多樣化的有效手段。如:She was driving without a license.She was arrested and jailed by the police.可以組合成:Driving without a license, she was arrested and jailed by thepolice.6使用副詞或不定式作為句子的開頭(1)副詞(-ly)開頭的句子不羅嗦,能夠簡潔地表達(dá)某種狀態(tài),有明快感。試比較下列句子:He mixed the chemicals together.He wa
25、s gentle.可以組合成:Gently, he mixed the chemicals together.The burglars carried the television out of the house.Theywere quiet.可以組合成:Quietly, the burglars carried the television out of the house.I tore the wrapping off the present.I was excited.可以組合成:Excitedly, I tore the wrapping off the present.(2)不定式
