Step 1 Learning words and phrases
1.desire n.渴望;欲望;渴求;vt.希
2、望得到;想要
Do you think it is possible for a robot to have its own needs and desires?
你認為機器人有可能有自己的需求和愿望嗎?

(1)desire作名詞時,可接不定式或者for短語作定語,還可以接that引導的同位語從句。
(2)desire作及物動詞時的常見搭配:
desire sth./to do sth./sb.to do sth./that...
[注意]
desire作名詞后接同位語從句以及作動詞后跟賓語從句時,從句常常用虛擬語氣,即“(should)+動詞原形”結構。
