1、become的幾個(gè)特殊用法
一、become之后可以接like嗎?
表示“感官意義”的系動詞,說明主語給人的感覺器官所產(chǎn)生的意義。例如look, seem, appear(看起來), sound(聽起來), smell(聞起來), taste(嘗起來), feel(摸起來;感覺到)等,這類系動詞的用法,跟be 相似,除了接形容詞作表語外,還可以后跟like介詞短語。例如:
It looks like rain. 天看起來像下雨的樣子。
The cloth feels like silk. 這布匹摸起來像是絲綢。

2、ike an orange. 這東西看起來(嘗起來,聞起來,摸起來)像個(gè)桔子。
The stars are not afraid to appear like fireflies. 星星不怕顯得象螢火那樣。
此外,這類感官動詞還可以跟as if/as though從句。例如:
It sounds as though someone is weeping nearby. 聽起來好像有人在附近哭。
It looks (seems, appears) as if he has lost interest in his job. 看來他對自己的工作已失去了興趣。

3、上一般沒有become like的例句,但在實(shí)際語言中確實(shí)存在著。例如:
She's become like a real middle-aged woman. 她變得確實(shí)像個(gè)小老太太了。
We teach you to become like a little child through your joy and your happiness. 我們教導(dǎo)你們通過喜悅和歡樂成為一個(gè)小孩子。

二、become of是什么意思?
become of是一個(gè)固定搭配,意為“結(jié)果怎樣;遭遇如何;發(fā)生了什么;出了什么事”等,主語一般是what或whatever,不能是“人”。What becomes of sb./sth.? 所表達(dá)的意思,相當(dāng)于What happens to sb./sth.?

三、become能跟“since一段時(shí)間”連用嗎?
一般說來,“非延續(xù)性動詞”(亦稱“終止性動詞”)
11、不跟表示時(shí)間段的狀語連用,也就是說,不跟“for+一段時(shí)間”或since連用。become屬于“非延續(xù)性動詞”,但可以跟since連用。例如:
He has become an awful bore since she got married to him. 她自從和他結(jié)婚后,就變得令人厭煩透了。
He's become increasingly withdrawn since his wife's death. 他從妻子死后越來越孤僻了。
He's become very high and mighty since he got that new job. 他自從得到了那份新工作
