The researchers found that when the directions of two patterns didn’t match, the area in our brain which is responsible for visual memory was activated. 16、 the same direction. “The medial prefrontal cortex(額葉皮層) adjusts current visual information with previously obtained information, and thus enables us to perceive the world with more stability, even when we briefly close our eyes to blink,” Caspar Schwiedrzik explained in Science Daily.
